crystal clear with golden hue topped with white head, the nose is malt and beer. moderate hopping rate yields a decent balance.

Jul 10, 2008 Bottle, Barleycorns, Nantwich. Poured a pale golden colour. Head pretty much nonexistent. Vague malty aroma; not tantalising the senses thus far. Clean and smooth, and quite enjoyable for the first couple of sips, but becomes rather boring rapidly. Finish was dryish and uneventful. Probably a pretty decent example of the genre, but not really my thang.

Jul 1, 2008 Boring yellow with little white head. Aroma has a little hops to it, not much, A little hops on the taste as well as a hint of malts. Pretty boring stuff for me.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is clear light yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, husks), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a light note of DMS.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, husky.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Kinda sketchy in the aroma (rough/grainy/vegetal) without much hop aroma to help out. I really like a good Helles, but this isn’t one of them.

Pale golden with a brief, white head.
Really sourish in both aroma and flavour. Pretty sweet with no bitterness. Bland.
