[part of the Munich Bender, 2008] Very pale yellow color. Hoppy aroma, malty. Very clean malt and "grainy" taste. Finishes with a strong herbal bitterness.

1l mug at their place downtown Munich. The experience deserved a bad enough place rating, the beer actually wasn’t so bad. Clear gold pour with white head, aroma of grain and honey, very straightforward stick to the point kind of helles. Taste is grainy, light metallic notes, sweet honey notes. Really not much going on here, no wonder they resisted the macro invasion so well.

500 ml bottle at home, poured into a lager glass, ABV 5.6% Clear body, golden yellow colour on it, small and thin white head, with low retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Smells of malts and bread, tastes the same, sweet taste, very malty, bready, some hay here too. Medium thin body with okay carbonation, dry on the palate. Okay beer, quite drinkable.
