UPDATED: APR 4, 2011 Per me è la miglior lager al mondo. E’ perfetta, non ha difetti. E’ bilanciatissima tra malto e luppolo, è gustosa ma leggera e dissetante. La miglior birra dell’Augustiner, un birrificio, secondo il mio punto di vista, che non ha mai sbagliato un colpo.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2011 I can’t rate this beer highly enough - it is one of my absolute favourites - it leaves no aftertaste, it’s not fizzy, it looks inviting and a 500 ml bottle is just so pleasurable. There are so many excellent beers available - this can be classed as one

Not necessarily typical of it’s type, it’s non the less got the colour, fizz, and the head of a pilsner. But with that tangy citrus finish it’s a knockout. My favourite lager.

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2012 The people from Bayern mostly see this as their best beer. Local fans told me it is one of their favorites because it is only brewed in Munich and besides not exported. They most notably point out this particular Edelstoff, and I agree this must be the best Pilsener around. It has an incredible soft and refined taste and is one of the best treats around in the world of beers.

Meiner bescheidenen Meinung nach das beste Export Bier der Welt! Es ist vollmundig, malzig-süß und wohlbekömmlich. Im Abgang kommt Aroma-Hopfen zum tragen. Die Süffigkeit ist grenzenlos.

Slightly sweeter than standard Munchener Helles. Served alongside the Festbier in the Augustiner tents, but available year-round.
