j_b (719), Rochester, New York, USA Mar 29, 2008 Hay and flowers in the nose. Pale, bubbly, minimal American pale lager look. Palate is thin, buttery, German hops, metallic. Not too great.
KimJohansen (2460), Copenhagen V, Denmark Jul 22, 2008 Bottle. Clear golden with medium white head. Sweet malty flavor with caramel notes. Gregis (861), Overland Park, Kansas, USA Jul 20, 2008 355 ml bottle purchased at Beertopia in Omaha, NE. Pours a clear, pale yellow with lots of fine, rising carbonation and a sizable head of tiny white bubbles. A bit skunky on the pour, the nose is of honeyish, grainy malt and lightly grassy hops. Lightly-bodied and soft with a clean and fairly crisp finish. Sweet and lightly doughy, with a touch of honey and a grassy hop finish. Fairly clean and refreshing, this one may not be terribly exciting, but it’s not too bad. Butters (278), Richmond, Virginia, USA Jul 19, 2008 Clear yellow pour with small white head. Cat piss skunk fades in aroma. Medium thin body with high carbonation. Hop bitter finish. cellar (271), Dublin, Ireland Jul 12, 2008 Clear golden, short head, notes of fruit and malt, sweet flavour and finish. wyzzywyz22 (243), Wirral, Merseyside, England Jul 10, 2008 Bottle, Barleycorns, Nantwich. Poured a pale golden colour. Head pretty much nonexistent. Vague malty aroma; not tantalising the senses thus far. Clean and smooth, and quite enjoyable for the first couple of sips, but becomes rather boring rapidly. Finish was dryish and uneventful. Probably a pretty decent example of the genre, but not really my thang.
