3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Was recently in Isle of Skye Scotland and my friend from Munich flew this over. It was very nice, had a sweet flavor and a full bodied texture as it went down. Certainly worth a try if you can find it.

Berlin Trip beer No. 29. Bottle. Pale yellow body, highly carbonated. Big loose head. Fizzy looking, and in mouthfeel. No aroma. Has a slightly metalic taste hardly any other flavours, apart from some faint malt and hops. Watery finish.

Not sweet, but not too bitter either - *the* Munich Helles. Bready. Straw-colored, fluffy head, carbonation that doesn’t take over.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cold, the aroma is almost entirely German hops. Crystal clear straw with nice, white, foamy top that leaves some lace along the sides of the glass as it descends to a flanel blanket. Although the aroma was totally hop-laden, the flavour of this beer is of crisp malt with only a touch of hops. Citrusy finish in the flavour as well. Perhaps a tiny bit of DMS, but that only goes well with the crisp, lagery finish. Light to medium body with medium carbonation and a clean finish. The modest bitterness and carbonation combine nicely in this beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I was really quite pleasantly surprised by this beer. It is an eminently likeable lager with good aroma and fine mouthfeel. It’s not extreme and it’s not going to blow your socks off, but it really hit the spot.
Its appearance is pale yellow and sparkling, with white head. The beer was rather foamy. It was lightly hoppy in aroma (Saaz?) and its flavor was lightly sweet and bread-y, well balanced with European tasting hops. Mouthfeel was fine and smooth. I thought this beer was very drinkable. Reminds me of the best-tasting Bitburger or Warsteiner I’ve ever had.
