3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 500ml. Clear bright golden color with a one finger white head. Honey and grain aroma, simple but nice. Flavor is classic München helles lager, good grain background, somewhat sweet but not too much, honey, minimal bitterness. Lighter body but not thin, extremely drinkable. Very good for the style.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma: Pilsen malt, corn, spicy hops, dms, honey. Appearance: Color is clear straw, head is quite dense, high, durable. Taste: Clear taste of pilsen malt, very nicely drinkable, hoppy finish, slightly lingering light spicy bitterness, watery, light corn, honey, some very low dms. Palate: Carbonation is medium (should be higher), body is low, finish is semi-sweet. Really good and drinkable Helles.

0,5l fles gedeeld in München geel met een witte kraag. Geur en smaak mooi in balans beetje herbal hop. Verder niet heel spannend

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Multiple out-of-context 50cl bottles and at source gravity pours each February, Munich. - The quintessential large-scale yet still privately owned Bavarian Helles sets a standard for humble sessionability-by-dryness: crisp pale malts with a fresh biscuit crunch, a sane helping of lemonade Hallertauers and a clean bitter finish. - The Lederhosen-clad young hordes prowling the streets come armed with this bottle and provincial manicheistic wars are fought over Augustiner vs. Tegernseer, but donot hold this against this classic: as DE or US craft brewers alike aspire to reach this level of supraregional sessionability, this remains a solid standard.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
Aroma: crowded, dirty central station in the summer... Obviously I am a little negatively biased, since this is the most common beer around where I live, and you smell it everywhere, even if you don’t want to.
Taste: mostly bitter, some aggressive hops.
Palate: exactly like water.
Overall: Boring, too widespread, I already had enough of this one.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. A regular dirty industrial lager. Nothing stands out good or bad, it’s just boring.
