apricot aroma and flavour. quite soft and pleasant

good. big grassy hop aroma. very pleasent light malt falvouring with bags of grass and a grainy and crisp bitter finish. quality. bottle. wineways. harrogate.

Bottle. Pale, golden yellow, clear colour, with average big white head. Moderate malty aroma, some light hops and touch of white wine aroma. Initial flavor is lighty acidic/bitter and turns into moderate bitter aftertaste. Texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

50 cl bottle @ Maifest, Tampere.
Pours pale clear golden color with medium head. Aroma of mild honey, grass and mild herbal notes. Flavour of lemon, herbs, buttery notes and some sourish wheat. Strong carbonation, bitter palate.

Aroma has grainy malt, some butter and grassy hops. Flavour is somewhat hoppy with grass and some grainy malt. A helles with some extra hops.

Great beer. Pour from 500ml bottle that my friend gave me from germany. only slight dissapointment was that it hasn’t head. It dissapeared very quickly. Dry grass and floral hops. It’s nicely balanced and have some hops bitterness. Carbonation is medium. Highly drinkable and every sip needs another one. :-) This is one simple but very good beer.

Clear golden colour with white head. Aroma is malty. Flavour is malty, sweet, grainy, some hops.

Half litre brown bottle, best before July 2010, drank early June 2010 on a warm sunny afternoon in my garden. Poured (3 times) into a Veltins Pilsner stemmed tulip. Pale golden, as you’d expect from a helles lager. Snow white foaming head on each pour, some lacing, but not huge ammounts. Weak smell, wheat or straw type esters, otherwise nothing. The beer is crisp and refreshing, but lacks body, the alcohol is evident from the first sip which makes the beer unbalanced in my book. The sun makes the beers shine, but all that glisens isn’t gold. This is an OK lager, but a long way from something I’d recommend anyone having while tasting German beers.

500 ml bottle.
Pours a yellow colour with a white head. Aroma of strong citrus and malts. Flavour of rich malts, citrus, grassy hops and some grainy notes. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Easy to drink but has clearly lost it’s edge.

Watery and mild beer. Weak body. Light and clear appearance. A little bitter with a caramelly sweetness at the end. Bought at the Kaizer in the Hauptbahnhof in Berlin in 2012.
