Bottle. Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair to virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, fruity, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (150208)

A hazy dark brown beer with a disappearing light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and hints of alcohol. The flavor is also sweet with notes of caramel and a little chocolate.

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark, clear amber colour with a beige head. Lots of caramel in the nose. Surprisingly light body considering the alcohol. Distinct notes of roasted malt and caramel. Very easygoing Doppelbock. 120805

Bottled. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is raisin, plum, sweet malts. Flavour is mildly roasted malts, caramel malts along with alcohol and and some mild hoppyness.

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2005 Bottled at RBESG. Mid brown. Sweet, roasty and full bodied. Warming with generous malt flavours and soft moutfheel. Some butterscotch and coffee, salty finish. Very tasty!

Bottled at RBESG 2005. Brown coloured with a yellow head. Sweet aroma of bread, caramel and dried fruits. Very sweet flavour of malts, bread and caramel.

Bottle. Weak, yeasty, roasted aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Light brown head. Looks a lot like cola. Very powerful liquorice flavour, a bit sweet with a good alcohol bite and a nice creamy finish. Hint of metal. A bit one-dimensional and not as good as expected.

Brown color; big head, not compact. Malt aroma. It has some malt flavor, some caramel, a light metallic touch, medium body strength, enough residual sugars; at the end there is some sweetness and liquorice. Regular.

Clear dark amber with tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with caramel and mroasted malt. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, caramel and prunes. Ends sweet.
