in Flasche. Looks like I’m picking up the important words of the country. Slightly sweet with firm hop bitterness and flavor. Expected it to be a touch lighter in body. Moderate carbonation compared to everything else I have had in Germany.

Pours very blond golden and clear, it looks very carbonated. Head is quite thick and leaves good lacing in the glass. Aroma has mostly hay-like hoppiness, butter and grass, there is also little sweetness. Taste is quite thin before grassy hoppiness starts to dominate. There is also little hay and yeast bread. Palate is very thin before hops jumps into the mouth in the middle taste. Quite refreshing, though there is a lot of butter. Basic pilsner, which has a nice hop kick, else this could be watery. There is clear butter in the aroma, but taste is drier and hoppier.

330ml bottle @ Augustiner, Berlin Pours clear golden with a large foamy head. Aroma of grassy hops, buttery notes, bready malts and earthy notes. Taste is sweetish, malty and grassy with hints of butter. Finish is smooth, grassy and malty. Clean and tasty pils.

pale golden colour, dense long lasting white head;aroma and taste of a typical german pilsener - well ballanced maltyness and hops with maybe some malty dominance

330ml bottle. Aroma is grass, hops, light honey. Appearance is pale golden with a nice white head. Taste is bitter and very light sweet. Has a good, medium carbonation and leaves a fine dryness. Overall a very nice Pils.

Pale blond color, with small head. The aroma is light, with very delicate lemony notes. Lean and quite dry mouthfeel, but smooth, with delicate malt flavor and decent bitterness; it has a light grassy hop character.
It’s a quite easy beer, but with some grace.

Bevuta alla spina, forse era un pò troppo fredda, e un pò troppo gasata, ma nel complesso mi è sembrata una buona pils.

Bottle @ Augustiner Bierhalle, München. 24.4.2013. Pale yellow beer with a small white head. Herbal and grassy hoppy aroma. Dry, lightly malty and herbal / grassy hoppy flavour. Fizzy mouthfeel, light bodied. Quite refreshing on a hot spring day after spending the day shopping (fioncé). :) Good traditional german pilsener.

Had it both on tap and in bottles. This is more intense version of helles from my point of view - more hop aroma, more sulfur in the nose. Best south german pils imho.

Clear golden yellow color with moderate head. Slightly sweet creamy malt and moderate grass hops flavor. Nice body. You stick your nose into the glas you will be overwhelmed by a motherload of flowery aromahops. The hops are there in the taste too, nicely balanced with a medium bodyed aroma. The finish is particularly dry, grassy, herbal atop crisp straw-like malts. Carbonation is much higher than I expected, this smashing dry and bubbly Pils.
