Bottle purchased in Berlin.
Pours a beautiful crystaline pale gold with a nice white head. Citric nose, some sourness, dry grassy fields. Lots of life in the flavor: a strong hops with some pine, thick sweet fruit (apple, pear, papaya?) in the flavorful malts, a good assertive hop finish with the bitterness accenting the lively carbonation and visa versa.
Absolutely fresh, absolutely delicious. Strong and forward in character, almost like some the targeted-to-West-coast-beer-geek American craft pilsner. A very nice beer!

Aug 9, 2008 (6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Clear yellow-golden color. Aroma of some malt and OK hoppiness. Sweetish flavor with hints of grains and a bitter hoppy finish with light grassiness. Medium-bodied. 5/2/6/3/11=2.7
(7/5/08) Bottle at Augustiner Keller in Munich. Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma of some grainy malt and some grassy hops. Sweetish flavor, a bit grainy at first, continues with pleasant hoppy bitterness. Medium-bodied. A decent Pils. 6/3/7/3/13=3.2
