Bottle from Helmut’s place in Berlin. Pours a clear yellow color with a creamy white head, but little carbonation. Smells and tastes predominantly of grain. Very bland.

Bottled, surplus from RBSG, thanks oakes, alc. 5.6% (BB 10/2004)
Pale lager color, small vanishing head. Pils-grassy nose. Hoppy and bitter but a bit boring pils.

Ernest (6319) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 20, 2008
Augustiner brewpub, Munich. Head is white, mostly lasting. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), with light notes of soap and DMS. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Unpleasant.

Embrouille (2830) - SWITZERLAND - JUN 24, 2009
Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of joss. It pours a pale yellow beer with a decent white head. Dissapointing aroma of grain, sulphur, soy sauce, grass, mediocre earthy hops and compost. Boiled vegetables in the taste. Low bitterness. Grainy. Some gooseberries, cannabis and wax sneaking in. The flavor is better than the nose. Low bitterness. Actually quite malt accentuated with a hint of lemon. Dryish finish. I didn’t enjoy this Pils. Thanks a lot joss!

deyholla (6861) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 26, 2009
Bottle. Poured a clear gold with a thin and quickly dissipating white head. Aroma had weak notes of malt and oddly steamed veggies. Flavor was basic with sweet malts and a bit of crisp hops.

Bottled. Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy and a bit like plastic with some fruity and hoppy notes. Flavour is malts, some fruits and quite much grains.

Typical German beer. Good but not exciting. Nice on a hot day- but that´s all. Can´t separate between the major brands from Germany.

Bottle at RBESG Grand Tasting 2008. Pale-ish gold, think white head. It’s a decent light pils. It’s a little poor maybe.
