UPDATED: OCT 4, 2014 This is a very creamy weissbier. Just delicious on the tongue with a lot of complexity, too. Aroma is largely what you would expect from a weissbier and it looks a little water (but it isn’t, don’t worry).

Saeglopur (1632) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - MAY 29, 2014
Bottle. Orange, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, white head, that leaves some lacing. Aroma of banana, orange, clove, grains, some citrus. Taste with the same aromas. Mouthfeel is medium to light, with a lively carbonation and it finishes fruity, spicy and slightly bitter. Refreshing and easy to drink Weizen, that is a bit light bodied though and lacks some more flavour.

Not really much a difference between the whole lot of hefeweizens. this wasn’t bad at all.

Bottle from the Bottle Stop, Bramhall. Orange gold with large white head. Vanilla and banana aroma. Flavour similar with some yeast, wheat, bit of spice and a bit of metal. Didn’t really excite me in anyway.

mateuszk (1584) - Poznań, POLAND - JUN 13, 2014
Bottle. Looks like classic hefe - cloudy orange, very big white head. In aroma mainly bananas, clove, citrus and yeasts. In taste similar to aroma with a hint of dark malt aroma, some toffee. The beer is smooths, small bitterness at the end with citrus ending. Very good hefeweizen.

500 mL bottle from Beers of Europe. Medium opacity yellow/orange wheat beer. The aroma is nice and appetising. For a wheat beer this is remarkably smooth. Its pleasant and easy to drink, recommended.

inbirraveritas (1472) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 1, 2011
