3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 mcdav2154 (436) - GERMANY - AUG 20, 2009
Pours really clear for a weissen but there is still some haziness. Good head. Average lacing. Smell is normal with a good wheat, banana, clove, and lemon/orange mixture. Taste is the same as the smell. Nothing suprising but I really enjoyed the creamy buttery mouthfeel and how clean it was. Medium hop bite. Pretty good brew.
2.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 peral2 (436) - SWEDEN - SEP 1, 2012
Nice weissbier but not exciting. Tastes like all other Weisdbier. (maybe you have guessed I am not one of the greatest fan...)
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 SimplySike (421) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - DEC 15, 2012
50cl. Bottle.
Poors cloudy orange with white head.
Aroma banana, yeast, malts.
Taste weak, little sweat, little bitter.
Mouth-feel thin, bit creamy.
Weak weissbeer, it’s ok but taste is little to weak.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 delnoche (402) - GERMANY - JUN 19, 2009
50cl bottle poured into a weizen glass. Cloudy orange with a ton of creamy white head. Aroma is bananas, bread, citrus, clove. Flavor is very yeasty. Finish is long and very sour and metallic. Probably the worst example of a weissbier I’ve tried yet. Definitely won’t be buying this one again.
1.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 tenghave (402) - Taastrup, DENMARK - JAN 29, 2006
Købt på ferie i Tyskland (50 cl flaske).
Øllen er en typisk tysk weisbeer, men er meget gærret i udseende, duft og smag.
Farven er ikke så klar man kender fra Franziskaner.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 CEZ (393) - Milano, ITALY - MAY 4, 2004
Orange body, rather clean. Yeasty and spicy aroma, good head. Solid maltiness to complement the dry, hoppy finish. Medium bodied.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mistersinalin (381) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - JUN 3, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 17, 2007 Some of this review comes from my visit to Munich, and some from trying it out of the bottle at Delirium Cafe. The beer I remember from Munich was awesome, creamy, fruity goodness. The beer that I had out of the bottle was a shadow of the former description. It was a good Hefeweizen, but I think I am beginning to learn that fresh from the tap is the best ay to enjoy this variety.

thick and bready aroma. hearty and wheaty. very strong aroma. bubbly orange color with slight head. nice thick mouthfeel. flavor is not so hot. begins rich but ends watery and sour.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 kjc51478 (361) - Cologne, GERMANY - AUG 15, 2011
500ml Bottle. Appearance is orangish, dark tan color with lots of foamy, off-white head. Aroma is typical Weizen with lots of fruit and spice. Taste is generally sweet-tart with mild banana and spice flavors. Also somewhat metallic as if hard water was used. Palate is medium-bodied, slick texture, average carbonation, and a little off-putting astringent finish.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ACD (341) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAY 18, 2013
50cl bottle at Probus Wines, Dublin. Hazy murky orange pour with lasting white head. Aroma gives bananas, clove spice, and fairly zesty orange. Orange peel and banana dominate the flavour, alongside sweet bread, herbs, and clove. Lingering banana, herbs, and orange zest. Medium/full mouthfeel. Nothing too complex here, but a tasty Hefeweizen for sure.
