A really nice Spanish beer. The alcohol taste is not as abvious as I could imagine when a pilsener holds 5.8 ABV. The best Spanish beer I've tried.

Can from Eroski Supermarket, Logrono, La Rioja, Northern Spain 02.07.11 consumed outside Frank (camper) at Camping Barenas, nr Santo de la Calzederas, La Rioja, Spain 02.07.11 Pours light gold with a white head, it’s a little sweet but not as much as the San Miguel 1516. Touch of vanilla but then the metallic also picked up along with some corn. Not exciting but better than many. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 jbrus (4992) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - APR 18, 2006
Bottled. Aroma of sweet malts and light herbal. Deep yellow almost golden color, white irregular head, good lace. Malty, herbal bitter, hint of pear, medium body. Not bad, refreshing and certainly not as chemical as most Spanish beers.

Pale golden body with a small white head. Bready malt, sourish yeast and some hop in the aroma and flavor. Not an exciting but drinkable one.

330ml can at The Penguin. Pale gold with a dense bleached collar. Aroma of beach mat, slight lemon infused sponge, raw aubergine. Mucous-thick, slimy and sweet with notes of aluminium, Madeira cake crumbs, buttered corn. Not as bad as I’m making it sound.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Pinball (9727) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2008
aroma a bit nutty. rather faint. clear yellow, nice head. flavor is rathe strong for a spanish pale lager. sweet and a little alc, and bitterness in the end seems to be part alc, part hops. okay macro "gold beer"
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 JorisPPattyn (7363) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAY 17, 2005
Golden beer, well carbonated to small but dense off-white head. Malty, slightly grassy, faintly alcohol-sweet, nearly brandy-ish nose. Taste is again alcoholic & sweet, which is weird for a 5.8% ABV beer. Industrial white toasting bread ’taste’. Rather burning MF, consistent with the alcoholimpression. Finish is rather empty however. Dull, but nothing wrong. Weirdly alcoholic.
