Flavor swoops in (cue EAGLE SCREAM), grabs you by the face and flies you through the hop rainbow. At the peak of the ride it swoops back to earth and gently drops you back on your bar stool where you are refreshed, excited and ready to ride again. Itís hoppy, bold and American. More bitter than a Cleveland Cavs Fan.

Aroma: not much there for an ipa, though there is some citrus. Appearance: looks good for style. Taste: very light on hops, more in the style of a pale ale. Palate: medium mouthfeel. Overall: not an ipa, not enough hops. More in the style of a pale ale.

Can thanks to my Secret Santa Michael. Pours a clear orange gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a combination of light grapefruit and grassy hops with a backbone of hay and earthy grain. Flavor starts with earthy grassy hops and hay up front with a bit of earthy citrus in the finish.

Clearish copper with a big fluffy head. Smell is light citrus. Semi bitter, but crush, some citrusy hops, definite wheat taste. Nice beer

Can [12oz] at Alamo Drafthouse - South Lamar, Austin, Oct. 18. Pours a clear, bubbly golden-orange with an average size semi-lasting frothy off-white head. Some lacing on the glass. Nice aroma of citrusy hops, slightly resiny, and with some caramel malt in the back. Really nice hoppy flavour with malt in the back and a nice bitter finish -- this is quite easy to drink. Medium bodied. Simple but pleasant IPA.

Itís great to come across this Fort Worth. A good IPA that isnít too heavy on the alcohol. Itís a standard American IPA and doesnít stick out from the rest, but itís in a can and itís from Texas. A good entry.

Clear golden in color with a big, white head that goes down fast but leaves a good amount of lacing. Smells like citrus hops and bready malt. The malt comes out first with those citrus hops playing around on your tongue. Then the bitterness builds slowly until it lingers at a high intensity after swallowing, but the hops arenít overwhelmingly bitter thoughout. I think this is one of the most balanced and consistent ipas Iíve come across.
