COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Flavor swoops in (cue EAGLE SCREAM), grabs you by the face and flies you through the hop rainbow. At the peak of the ride it swoops back to earth and gently drops you back on your bar stool where you are refreshed, excited and ready to ride again. It’s hoppy, bold and American. More bitter than a Cleveland Cavs Fan.
Hops: Summit, Columbus, Centennial, Amarillo
Malts: Pils, C-40, C-60, Wheat
Yeast: American Ale

A gift from SJ. A nice ipa. A tad tiny. I liked it, because I like hoppy beers, but I felt like I had this 1000x before.

Canned. Poured clear, brighter golden with a well-retained white head.. sticky lacing followed it down. The aroma picked up pine resin and grapefruit hoppage over a sweet biscuit and lightly honeyed base.. simple, but not bad at all. The flavor found more bready sweetness at the core, with black pepper and grapefruit bitterness extending outward.. tight carbonation also contributed some bite on the finish.. again solid, but not spectacular. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated on the palate.. a tad spicy.. overall an easy drinker that I’d have again.

On tap @ the Common Table. Light amber brew with a decent amount of head. Weak aroma - grapefruit and caramel malt with some resiny hops. Reminds me more of a Pale Ale than an IPA - lacking the big hop bite. Very dry with lots of floral hops and caramel malt.

On tap at The Common Table. Pours a nice copper color With a medium white head that stays. The aromas are bread, citrus, peanuts. The mouthfeel is dry, slightly bready and bitter with a medium body. Cheers!

Deep golden color out of the can. Thin sticky off white head. Big candied grapefruit rind and apricot jam nose. Thin bitter grapefruit juice flavors with buscuit and bread crust notes. Watery in the finish with a long pinching hop bitterness.

Can from Whip-In. Light orange pour with a big white head. Aroma is almost bready, slightly grassy, and lots of grapefruit. Taste is bitter, biscuity, and and not as good as the smell.

12oz bottle. Rating #24. Dark medium gold color with a nice lacing white head. Great aroma, sticky sweet citrus,, orange and ruby red grapefruit, makes my mouth water. High bitterness, very strong and it batters the tongue pretty good, not as good as the aroma, but still a very solid IPA. (2098)
