COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Flavor swoops in (cue EAGLE SCREAM), grabs you by the face and flies you through the hop rainbow. At the peak of the ride it swoops back to earth and gently drops you back on your bar stool where you are refreshed, excited and ready to ride again. Itís hoppy, bold and American. More bitter than a Cleveland Cavs Fan.
Hops: Summit, Columbus, Centennial, Amarillo
Malts: Pils, C-40, C-60, Wheat
Yeast: American Ale

In the immortal words of my fiance "this smells like legitimate grass." This one has a really strange aroma. Itís not like anything I have ever smelled in an IPA. Itís almost like earthy dirt. The taste is a lot better than the aroma but this one is really tough to figure out. Itís not bad by any means but itís not all that great. Itís kind of lingering in the middle.

Clear light amber, fine white head. Starts cara-sweet, but hop bomb quickly drops and lingers. Not very complex, but nicely fresh and drinkable.

Tap at casino el Camino, Austin. Pours a clear golden color with thin but bubbly head. Aroma is lightly floral and citrusy with a thin malt backbone. Taste is an earthy grass, pine hops with slight grapefruit and a roasted malt backbone with hints of caramel. Palate is light body, high carbonation. Good summer beer.

Rich copper and bronze coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of bright PNW hops with quite a bit of malt, some alcohol and a nice piney scent as well. Medium-bodied; Pungent hop flavour dominates at first with a good balance of rich strong malt. Alcohol shows near the end as well with a definite depth of flavours. Aftertaste shows some rich caramel, a good malt backbone and yes, of course the hops dominate. Overall, a nice beer for sure and more of an East Coast IPA, but a great one to sample, especially in a can and especially in central Austin. I sampled this twelve ounce can at Peteís Dueling Piano Bar in Austin, Texas on 05-May-2014 for US$4.99.
