COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Flavor swoops in (cue EAGLE SCREAM), grabs you by the face and flies you through the hop rainbow. At the peak of the ride it swoops back to earth and gently drops you back on your bar stool where you are refreshed, excited and ready to ride again. It’s hoppy, bold and American. More bitter than a Cleveland Cavs Fan.
Hops: Summit, Columbus, Centennial, Amarillo
Malts: Pils, C-40, C-60, Wheat
Yeast: American Ale

I plan to try this again with a fresh pallet and see what I think. As it is, think it’s pretty nice, but due to the continuous ratcheting up of hops in IPAs, this one isn’t a BLOW YOU AWAY hop monster. It is however good, clean and plenty good drinking and one that I can easily imagine going for more than a few times. Yeehaw for local beer!

One of my favorite Texas brewed IPAs. Served out of a can, this american style IPA pours a deep reddish gold. High carbonation is evidenced by the continuous stream of rising bubbles. Half finger of head results from the pour. Subtle hop aromas - citrus and some sweet caramel. Beer has good, well rounded body with hop flavor throughout. This beer is very hop forward - not much of a malt characteristic to balance this one out. Resin, pine and light citrus notes dominate the flavor profile of this beer. It’s highly drinkable - almost sessionable, for an IPA.

Not awful but after having finished the oatmeal pale, this one struggled in competition...

Pours a clear light copper color with a slight white head and greasiness lacing. The nose is all piney hops. The taste is similar to the fragrance: crisp, citrusy, and piney. Ok, but so is everybody elses'. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can:   Fiery golden, clear, light carbonation, moderate frothy white head, nice lacing.   Soft citrus based hop aroma.   A bit of tangerine.   Very fleeting on the tongue, light hoppiness to start but it quickly fades.   Would make a better Pale Ale, and even that is questionable as compared to the likes of Sierra Nevada.   Body and mouthfeel struggle to remain moderate.   Quick finish, very little hop flavor is left.   Not a bad beer, just too light overall.

This beer pours a medium golden color with a retained off white colored head. Aroma is hoppy with a bit of floral and citrus notes. There is also a bit of malty toast as well. Flavor is biter, but on the light end of bitter as American IPAs go. Al so, some sweetness to balance things out.. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and a little slick. Carbonation is average. This is an easy going IPA that I would be happy to quaff were it available in North Central Texas.

Bitter aftertaste, green/herby hops. Standard IPA with less aroma and more bitter on the backend

Appearance: Clear yellow with a big white head and good lacing. Full of citrus and floral flavors. A nice, clean, easy drinking IPA.
