3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tastes award winning. I mean, if you try to look through the can - you CANNOT! I mean, how many beers are THIS good?!?! But at least somewhat seriously - this lacks what ione seeks in an IPA - because it is a Pale Ale, but for your every day drinking beer? It is marvelous. Thank goodness this breweryy opened. Canned beers that are ALL solid, clean and GOOD.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Heavy dough and cracker aroma, smells like Subway. Light Orange, tap pour. Taste is more or the same, salty crackers and light bitter. A whole lot of not much. Fine backyard beer but not at premium price, and that does matter.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz can, sampled straight from the can and my least favorite of the three I had in the can. Aroma is mild biscuit, cereal grain, corn? Corn ?
Flavor is weak at best. Grain, biscuit and weak bad yeast. How the hell can I get more flavor from this Brewers Pils then the Golden ale? Oh, right it’s a golden ale... Yes, this Brewers Pils are more character and flavor profile. This recipe needs some work. No hop balance to cut through the this grain bill.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can. Pours a clear golden color with a moderate white head on there. Nose has a fair amount of corn in there, and seems like a light and easy beer. Taste is slightly sweet with corn to it, and just seems "meh" overall. Not much to this one.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear gold from the can with dissipating white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of pale malts and ale spice esters. Taste is all malt, slightly sweet, clean and easy. Good drinker, but nothing too crazy.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can at home. Pours clear golden, quick dissipating white head. Aroma is grain, light honey, grass. Not lots going on. Taste is grassy, faint citrus hops, toasted, slightly sweet malts. Not many bold flavors, but subtle and refreshing. Light body, highly carbonated. I’d take these over a macro any day of the week, highly sessionable.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear golden coloured body with a slightly orange glow and a very thin, single centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of metal, malt, light citrus and very little else - fairly bland in the nose. Light-bodied; Sharp metallic flavour at first with some soapy and citrusey hop character and a touch of light sweetness from honey at the end. Aftertaste shows some more malt notes, not much in the way of hops and very little complexity - what you get at 1 second into the beer is what you still notice a minute or so afterwards. Overall, a pretty poor offering considering the billing from the outside of the can. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whip-In in Austin, Texas on 05-May-2014 for US$1,79 sampled at home in Washington on 08-September-2014.
