COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Peacemaker is a simple beer taken seriously. It’s a light, flavorful, session beer. We see it as a “gateway beer” to craft brewing. Or, after you’ve had a few bolder brews and it’s time to downshift – pick up a Peacemaker. It’s Light, Balanced, and Smooth.
Hops: Newport, Centennial, East Kent Golding

(draught at Whip In) very pale yellow, sparse white bubbles on top. Nose of cereal grains, cream, and a touch metallic. Taste of cereal grain, mushrooms, cream, stale crackers, and light earthiness. Medium body with nice carbonation but in general, the off flavors take away from it. The IPA and pils are superior beers.

Why did I order this beer? I think I just finished the Hunger Games and got excited about peace makers. That’s what happens web you don’t look at a rating before consuming.

Nice and mellow, I expected it to have more hops though.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2012 Location: Draft at Whole Foods-Lamar-Bar Lamar (Austin), 2/19/12

Aroma: The aroma is lemon, yeast, and some cereal malts
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a bubbly white head
Flavor: The taste is mildly sweet, with some cereal malt flavor, and light hops
Palate: The carbonation is fairly fizzy on this one, and it has a light and bubbly body
Overall Impression: I wasn’t super impressed by this one. It is kind of a boring pale. Nothing too exciting going on here.

12 oz can from Freddy. Pours a pale yellow color with a medium white head that has fair retention. Aroma was pretty vague and indistinct, at least there was nothing objectionable. The taste was bready malts lightly hopped with white piney hops. The palate was medium with lively carbonation. Finished short and dry. Overall: Not bad, but nothing to really distinguish it either.

GABF 2011. Clear light gold, with a lasting white head. Biscuity aroma with some bright lemon hops and a slightly grassy tone. Flavor is mostly toffee and biscuit with some mild citric hop bitterness. Medium-light body with a light flavor profile. Not much hops, not much malt. Uncomplex and kinda boring.

Sampled at an esbls tasting. From Kenny. Very clear golden with active carbonation. Aroma and flavor are both very light. A bit of hop and malt but not a lot of anything.
