COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Peacemaker is a simple beer taken seriously. It’s a light, flavorful, session beer. We see it as a “gateway beer” to craft brewing. Or, after you’ve had a few bolder brews and it’s time to downshift – pick up a Peacemaker. It’s Light, Balanced, and Smooth.
Hops: Newport, Centennial, East Kent Golding
Malts: Pils, C-40
Yeast: American Ale

Clear golden coloured body with a slightly orange glow and a very thin, single centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of metal, malt, light citrus and very little else - fairly bland in the nose. Light-bodied; Sharp metallic flavour at first with some soapy and citrusey hop character and a touch of light sweetness from honey at the end. Aftertaste shows some more malt notes, not much in the way of hops and very little complexity - what you get at 1 second into the beer is what you still notice a minute or so afterwards. Overall, a pretty poor offering considering the billing from the outside of the can. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whip-In in Austin, Texas on 05-May-2014 for US$1,79 sampled at home in Washington on 08-September-2014.

I once did a whole marijuana. Now my life has gone completely downhill.
I am not the same person. I eat shoes, and drink dish soap. Please don’t become me.

Nothing special. Just an easy to drink pale ale/blond ale/golden ale, whatever. Very faint aroma of pale malts. Clear golden color with a white fizzy head. Palate was fine. Clean, crisp and carbonated. Taste was of pale malts with a hop counterpoint and a faint hint of honey. Not bad but nothing unique.

Very dimmed aroma, some biscuit malts and modern yet very shallow hops. Cold, fizzy, light biscuit malts sweetness, medium bitter, quite uninteresting. Disappointing. (On tap at Frank’s hotdog restaurant)

Draught at the Easy Tiger, Austin, TX. Clear golden colour with a tiny greyish white head. Very weak aroma of... nothing. I guess. The flavour is sweet malt, biscuits, mild hops, touch of bitterness and more cookies. Easy but not that bad. Just plain boring... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at some bar in Austin. Super light pour, almost light golden. Drinks pretty bland, but super clean and even. Faultless I guess, but also just kinda weak and almost golden ale, sippy lager-ish. Guess they advertise it accurately. (#5237, 9/1/2013)
