Nice tohave this available year round here in austin. I HATE PILSNERS! but this one takes it to the next level. I LOVE HOPS! and this beer proves that even a bad style can be saved by hops! My dislike of the style is the cereal flavor is how I describe it. Makes you want to add milk and use a spoon, not on this baby! It begs for you to guzzle it and drink more. It is very crisp and refreshing, especially on Texas hot as hell summers! THe nose is floral and slight fruity with this backbone of cracker I get. The mouthfell is light and crisp, and finishes with a nice hop flavor. I am always excited to throw these in as extras because its an under the radar beer!

Can-purchased at whole foods Austin, TX-pours lite golden yellow with a small fizzy whispy white head. nose is dank spicy hops-noble green type with some spruce-like notes. lovely. flavors exhibit the spicy spruce like hop notes, nice pale malt grain malt with some sweetness (not over atenuated like alot of pils are leaving behind wet grains/carbroard-none of that here). crisp, almost woody hop finish with lingering spritzy seltzer water-like carbonation tingle on the tongue. this is a lovely pilsener that would be in my fridge ALL the time if i lived in this area. One of the best i have had!

On draught at The Ginger Man in Austin. My highest rating yet for a pilsener, really impressed with this beer. Pour was pale golden with 1/2 finger head. Delicious aroma. Wasn’t expecting such a fresh taste! Appropriately hoppy. Medium body, easy to drink with food, also. Great palate, great beer!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear yellow with a modest white head. Aroma of florals, grass, and some biscuit. Taste is slightly sweet and citrusy with a decent bitterness. Light bodied and a tad soapy. It’s ok, something just doesn’t gel for me here.

Can. My friends, let me bring you the good news. This is lawnmower beer taken to a level of sheer magnificence. This is quenching your thirst with ambrosia after mowing the lawn with your Rolls Royce with a blade mount. This is what beer must have tasted like after a hundred-mile forced march carrying a hippopotamus. In short, my friends, this is so far above ’fizzy yellow stuff’ that it has escaped the gravity well and is currently heading for a magical planet where the rivers run with elixir of hops and barley. This, my friends, is pilsner elegance, sleek as a baby seal with an outboard motor. Drink deep.
