The nose is sweet with a little sugarpea and grass and a hint of pepper. Smooth sweetness with a good bite of white-pepper which relaxes to a herbal refreshing quality. That smooth sweet character is really what stands out to me. Delicious.

Could crush this stuff in the summer. Solid clean pilsner with nice crisp light finish. Well done.

Bottle tasted at Oxford Tasting Nov 2012. Trying to account for it being cold.....this would be a nice lawnmower beer. The Urquell yeast is telling in this, and against the Grapenut like sweet malt flavor, keeps it interesting and crisp.

Golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of pils malt, grassy hops, light citrus, toast. Taste of citrus, grass, some sweeter toffee notes, and toasted malts in the finish. Two solid pils’ from Texas on this trip.

Cloudy pour, decent tight white head. Nose = hops! Slightly bitter on the tongue. Lightly kilned malt in the middle with a mouth and noseful of bitter hops!!! Finish is dry and slightly spicy. Yum.

draft and cans. filtered gold with a white head of average retention. grassy, lightly spicy, lightly juicy, heavily musty German hop nose with sweetish baked cracker pilsner malt. lightly toasty and grainy / rough with medium-low carbonation, medium acid, a touch of something I will call "crunchy" but could otherwise be described as overly-toasty, combined with overuse of noble hops to produce something a bit rough around the edges, bordering on caustic, but kept inline by sweet-enough pale malt. yeast could be cleaned up but otherwise I’d say they have something going here.

Pours golden with whitish head. Smell is clean, hay, grassy and light malt. Taste is smooth and crisp balanced malt and grassy hops. Very easy to drink. Great Pilsner.

Beerliner Truck, GABF 2012. Pale grainy nose with a prominent and firm spicy saaz hop presence, grassy and aromatic. Flavor is light on body but huge on flavor. Big pale grain malty body with a firm bready/biscuit undertone, accompanied by a big grassy spicy saaz hop flavor with ample bitterness and a clean grassy finish. Pretty dang assertive pils, in a good way.

12oz can Clear golden brew with a bit of white head. Aromas of spicy hops and bready malts - flavor is clean. Bit of citrus and grain.
