3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
For a brewery that appears to be getting its feet off the ground this is a good offering. The aroma is light and pleasant with yeast being the first noticeable element. The color is light golden with very little head, which probably had more to do with the pour. The palate is light and crisp with carbonation bubbles taking the forefront. Hops are balanced nicely. At the risk of being misunderstood, there is a nice aftertaste that reminds me of soap. It might have been the selection of hops or some other spice used. Easy to drink with food.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle:   Hazy straw, light carbonation, moderate white frothy head, nice lacing.   Musty straw nose, dried grass.   Doesn’t seem as grassy or green as others.   Dusty straw on the tongue, very much like the tall dry stuff.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes dry, dusty and dried grassiness.   Seems clean, not as sweet or green as others, but its decent.   Thanks for the can Bill!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pint glass at Lake Creek Alamo (yeah, I was at Flix earlier- had a double dip!)- served in shaker that was a transparent dulled yellow/orange color. Aroma of bread and floral hops. Hits the mouth with a light body, malt feels very light overall, hops come in the middle, finish is clean, sharp, refreshing, and mildly acidic. ’Bout time these guys started making some F&)(ing beer!

On tap. Pours with a clear straw golden hued body with a large, fluffy white head. Aromas are of bready malt, floral and spicy hop, light citrus notes. Overall grainy. Clean yeast wise. Flavors show a medium to strong grassy bitterness, hay, straw, clean and dry. Pronounced lingering bitterness. A hint metallic. Clean yeast wise. Dry, crisp, and bitter with lively carbonation and smaller bodied.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice tohave this available year round here in austin. I HATE PILSNERS! but this one takes it to the next level. I LOVE HOPS! and this beer proves that even a bad style can be saved by hops! My dislike of the style is the cereal flavor is how I describe it. Makes you want to add milk and use a spoon, not on this baby! It begs for you to guzzle it and drink more. It is very crisp and refreshing, especially on Texas hot as hell summers! THe nose is floral and slight fruity with this backbone of cracker I get. The mouthfell is light and crisp, and finishes with a nice hop flavor. I am always excited to throw these in as extras because its an under the radar beer!

Can-purchased at whole foods Austin, TX-pours lite golden yellow with a small fizzy whispy white head. nose is dank spicy hops-noble green type with some spruce-like notes. lovely. flavors exhibit the spicy spruce like hop notes, nice pale malt grain malt with some sweetness (not over atenuated like alot of pils are leaving behind wet grains/carbroard-none of that here). crisp, almost woody hop finish with lingering spritzy seltzer water-like carbonation tingle on the tongue. this is a lovely pilsener that would be in my fridge ALL the time if i lived in this area. One of the best i have had!
