drat. roast, milk and coffee bean dark chocolate malt with minor notes of detergent and bell pepper. medium body, low carbonation, medium sweetness, pasty / yeast finish with lactic touches. the green / raw coffee bean and sweetened dirt notes are off-putting.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2013 Thin creamy head with a rich espresso aroma. Tastes like espresso, roasted malt and a hint of chocolate. So so so delicious. My girlfriend is not a beer person and even she loved it.

Wow, I’ve had some tasty coffee beers but his one is phenomenal. Smells like espresso and tastes like a fine stout with a double-shot of espresso poured in.

Draught. Nose is huge coffee. Pours black with little head. Flavor is just blown out with fresh roasted coffee. One of the most coffee-forward beers I’ve ever experienced. Very little hint of the base beer. Not for anyone who doesn’t love fresh, dark, strong coffee. But if you do, it doesn’t get any better than this.

Pours almost black with no head and a little lacing. Aroma and taste much the same. Strong coffee grinds and peach...a very interesting combo of flavors.

Coffee, chocolate, and subtle tobacco notes. Smooth drinking, but robust. The coffee aroma is quite strong, but other flavors are also well developed. It’s quite delicious.

OK... its official a tie for best beer I’ve ever had. Why such a high rating? Do I love coffee? No... but I love the smell of coffee... this has so much aroma... perfect dark appearance with nice medium head. The taste is coffee but milky creamy coffee... every drink I couldn’t believe what I was having... Amazing! Calmon the palate mild hops perfect balance. There is so much going on with this Beer. This would be perfect for a beer float! Great job guys!

Smells like strong black coffee. Looks like strongly black coffee. Tastes like strong black coffee with a little beer mixed in. Background flavors include chocolate malt and some faint buffering by the hops. Coffee drinkers rejoice! You’ve found your beer. It also has a small ring of a tan head and draws down clean.
