Tap at brewery. Pours black, little head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, roast malts. Taste is coffee, mild fruitiness, raisins, faint chocolate and toast. Nice beer. Smooth mouthfeel, heavier body but still decent on a hot day. Really enjoyable.

Aroma primarily roasted coffee. Thick black pour with tan ring and no lacing. The taste is slightly and primarily coffee flavored. Full body and medium carbonation. Overall, aggressive coffee flavor up front which mellows on the back end while the high alcohol content is well hidden.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2015 Pours pitch black with a little lace of a head into a pint glass from tap. Aroma is sugar sweet like with some roasted hints. Taste is delicious. Sweet at first and a nice roasted finish that isn?t too intense but there. Thick lightly carbonated.

Pours a dark brown almost black with a small amount of tan head. Roasted malts, coffee, and raw cocoa on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with more roasted malt. Not bad, a little thin though.

Draft pour at brew pub pour opaque dark brown to black with thin tan head. Nose straight up roasted black coffee. Taste big roast, coffee. Minimal chocolate but not missing it because of the big coffee. Light bitter late palate. Roasty finish

Excellent stout with coffee, but not overpowering smooth finish for a stout

Dark black with tan head. Smell is strongly of coffee, dark chocolate and cream. Taste is dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, and cream. Rich mouthfeel with slightly prickly carbonation. Awesome imperial coffee oatmeal stout. These guys make fantastic beers.

Black bodied, very creamy tan head. Loads of coffee, especially since the malts aren’t too sweet and heavy. Toffee like yet not sweet. Excellent taste too, smooth bitterness, balancing carbonation. Not super heavy or powerful but packing loads of taste richness per abv. Really well made and just plain enjoyable. (On tap at Craft Pride Austin)

Growler thanks to Rainer! Pours a dark brown with small tan head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is roast, coffee, and smoke. Medium mouthfeel with light coffee and nuttiness with nice smoke in the finish. Really enjoyed this one!

Easily in the top 5 of coffee beers, maybe even top 3. Bold but sweet coffee aroma. Taste is a milky, roasted mix of deliciousness. The oats truly add to the exceptional mouthfeel. I truly wish they would can this beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
