3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This beer is very nice. It doesn’t fit exactly into the category of fruit beer, since the "calafate" fruit (a type of berry) blends really well with the caramel and light toasted hints. Maybe more body would be appreciated, but you cannot expect so much from a beer that is touching the borderline with macro lagers (CCU).

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I highlight this beer primarily for its excellent balance also for its aroma, the fruit not know "calafate" delivers a different flavor to this beer.
Good performance for indu trial beer

This was more drinkable than their lager but I couldn’t really tell what the calafate fruit contributed.

330cc bottle-pours a light tan head and copper color. Aroma is light/medium malt-somewhat sweet caramel, some fruit, herbal. Taste is light/medium malt/bready-somewhat sweet caramel, some fruit, herbal/spicy hops. Medium body. OK/mild carbonation.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
My glasses in the hotel must have been hit with a huge dose of detergent as even though I have rinsed each one the beer pours as a flat and unnapealing beer. The colour is fine, like a sherry but I fail to pick up any strong presence on the nose, nor is there a strong flavour of whatever a calafate is. I guess its better than the lager but that is saying nothing.

Bottled in Castro, on Chiloe. Color is clear dark amber with thick head which leaves nice lacing. Aroma is sweetened with toufee and berries . Sweet and straight taste but not bitter a sort of unusual composition. Very enjoyable

Excelent for an industrial beer. Poor carbonatation. Great aroma and color. Its heavier than the market standard. Best of the family of Austral. Sweet.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A very original beer. The berry aroma is very noticeable, but not intrusive. Taste is a little sweet, but a little tart also. The berry flavour gives this beer a very unique touch. I liked it, even if I woudn’t drink more than one or 2 bottles at a sitting.

Bottle, a clear dark amber with a pillowy off white head. A light earthy aroma. Rich and alcoholic on the palate. Malt flavours dominate, both caramal and woody. Quite pleasant to drink slowly.

Bottle, thanks Cristián and David!
This may well be a standard ale with berries in it, but it works very well. The sourness and astringency of the fruit dominates the taste (yet isn’t cloying or artificial), but that’s a good thing as the malt/hop combo isn’t that interesting. Overall surprisingly tasty and complex.
