Had this brew on a school trip in Chile after a long drunken dinner. Good times and average beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Typical South American lager, but better than most. Some breadiness with some sweetness. It is not offensive, but drinkable on a warm day in Santiago.

I think this beer has the right properties to be one of the best in the world. It tastes light but fragrant and unique, easy to digest, it can safely drink a lot without having the negative effects of the usual beers that are not as well made. Meet the decidedly Mediterranean flavor, so my personal taste. I tasted and drunk almost all the beers of the world and this here is, for me, a beer full of magic. Thanks, Chile

0,35 l can as a gift.
Poured pale golden with a small white froathy head. Aroma of malt, some caramel, butter-yeast and some grass. Light body, thin character with sweet malt and some butter again, sourish yeast, some grass. Not my style...

Brought back from Chile by a friend. Golden pour, small white head. Solid grains, some grassy hops. Solid body, and carb. Good cereals, a little light on the bitterness, decent, but not great.

Lived across the street from this brewery for 9 months in Punta Arenas, Chile. From the cool label with a picture of Los Cuernos in Torres del Paine (awesome natl park in Southern Chile) I had high hopes of moving in next to a great Chilean brewery. Unfortunately, this is a very boring, poorly made German-style lager. Pour head-retention, pale straw color with lots of carbonation. Smells like sweet malts and a bit skunky . Tastes like your typical cheap lager. Not a horrible beer, but they market it like a craft "Reiheitsgebot" lager. I would put it on par with Bud or PBR. Kuntsmann is a much better beer if you want a German-style lager in Chile. Saludos a todos los chilenos! Echo de menos tu hermoso pais!

Clean golden lager. Fairly bland but with a light maltiness and not much hop character. if the price difference between this and Escudo isn’t too bad, I would opt for this.
