Bottle, a clear amber with a white foamy head. A floral hop aroma. Floral hops and juicy malts on a crisp and clean palate. A good lager.

330cc bottle-pours a dissipating white head and yellow color. Aroma is sweet grain/corn. Taste is sweet grain/corn quickly overtaken by light hops-sharp earthy/spicy saaz/continental. A good hoppy pilsner. Good carbonation.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 maupie (908) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - DEC 23, 2005
This beer has a golden body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a lot of carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is bitter
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 ha1ag (610) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - FEB 23, 2008
Bottled in Castro on Chiloe Isl. Bright golde color is with white bubbly head. Nose has hops. Aroma is hobby but very flat. Flavour is very clean, flat. Lightly bitter aftertaste. Not bad but this can be improved.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 omhper (15956) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 10, 2004
Bottled, thanks marbles! I got myself a bit of a surprise when I opened this bottle, of what is AFAIK the southernmost beer in the world. The cap was rusty, so I searched for date stamps - it said Nov 1997... Anyway this vintage lager poured deep hazy golden. The aroma had a lot of toffee, but not the acidity you’d expect from a 7 year old lager. It was sweet and medium bodied with soft, rounded mouthfeel. Low bitterness. For some odd reason this beer had probably gained from aging.

(in bottle, supermarket in Chile).Very hyped beer. Perhaps the second best lager in the middle range chilean beer market, but the are tons of other great beers to taste. Very good beer to drink in a "asado" or bbq, please drink this before THINKING about buying Cristal.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Strangebrewer (520) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 22, 2010
bottle. Poured clear amber with a medium sized white head. Very faint aroma, light hop. Medium dry palate, average carbonation. Light malt flavour with low bitterness. A very generic taste, I expected more with the claim that it is brewed under the Reinheitsgebot.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 KingGambrinus (117) - Santiago, CHILE - OCT 26, 2007
Clear golden color. Hoppy aroma with fruity touches. Decent body and bitterness. I like this lager, the new one made in Punta Arenas is very different from the one that used to be made by CCU.
