Its all about the hops. In this case Australian Galaxy hops. Used in the kettle, the fermenter and in maturation to give a big hit of enticing citrus and passion fruit flavours but without too much bitterness to slow you down.

Light gold with a decent white head. Not much in the aroma, light citrus and biscuity malt. The taste has even less strength, Im not getting much hop at all and little to excite. It goes down without a whimper. Came off like a pale lager with light fruit/pine hop. A bit pricey for what it is to bother trying again.

Can from Natural Lawson. Light and fruity aroma, lemon. Taste is similar, quite nice, but lacking something. Lemony hops again, bit of biscuit, but the whole thing feels quite light and airy. Easy drinking but would have preferred it with a bit of a kick.

Pretty good piney skunk aroma, medium well balanced body with a comfortable amount of bitterness and a reasonably clean finish. Better than I expected.

floral, citrus, banana, golden, hazy, frothy, light sweetness, lightly sour, light body, fizzy, bitter. Deliciously fruity aroma, reminiscent of those dried fruits that are packaged with nuts. Very zesty in the mouth. Exceptionally refreshing. Not what I think of when I see the words "Pale Ale", but Im certainly not disappointed.

355ml can. Hazy pale yellow colour with a stable medium-sized white head. Aroma is fruity with passionfruit and pineapple to the fore on top of a light malt bill. Taste is similar with a mild-to-moderate fruity hop bitterness. A solid pale ale in the mould of Stone & Woods Pacific Ale (but not as good). ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml can into glass. Faint tropical fruit nose. Cloudy amber beer with solid white head. High carbonation. Zingy in the mouth. Fruit salad taste followed by hop bitterness. Really nice, moreish.

Can from Katsuragawa Aeon mall. Really light gold with a huge frothy whte head. Aroma has some hops with a ton of fruit and something tangy. Flavour has Belgian golden ale yeast with nice tropical fruit and a nice bitter finish. A bit all over the place, but very fresh.

really pale golden color. Lightly hopped nose that is reminiscent more of a Pilsner than a pale ale. Very light body with little character and little resemblance to a pale ale

I found it to have a whole hop aroma, as if I had a handful of hop cones. It was slightly grassy, but the citrus of the Galaxy certainly comes through in aroma and taste. Pleasant drink

Can from Kumiyama AEON Mall liquor shop. Decent tropical fruit nose, with some cat pissy notes. Cloudy apple juice color. Light tangy tropica; fruit, mild bittering, some gentle grapefruit. Thin body. Nice enough. A bit watery. Good nose. But these hops might work better with a maltier base, perhaps in an IPA.
