3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From Bottle. A modest IPA with balance and sessionability. Not Hawthorns best drop but still a commendable, drinkable beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Bottle) Hazy golden amber with good white head. Nice aroma of passion fruit and pine. Medium body with good carbonation. Fruity hoppy flavours dominate over quite a sweet light malty base. Pleasant easy drinking IPA.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light amber color. Fairly malty, but overall undistinguished IPA that I am surprised the score is so high.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy amber with a foamy head that fades to a nice lacing. Fruity aromas of passionfruit, some straw-like grassy notes, mango and some spice. Like nothing I have had before. Flavour is well balanced, with a bready malt backbone that showcases toffee and caramel balanced with the sweet fruity esters of the Aussie hops. A tad overcarbonated for my liking, but this was remedied by leaving it to warm up a little. The best of the Hawthorn beers

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours with very attractive frothy head and nice lacing. Compared to American ipas this is mild on the hops. decent malt showing through. This is okay if you’re out somewhere with no better options, as I was (rumbar)

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a hazy golden-orange colour with a medium white head and good lacing. Tropical fruit aroma. Mango and pineapple with delicate spicy floral notes. Touch of grass. Fairly thin body. Taste is a little bit underwhelming. Grassy and perhaps a little sudsy, but not unpleasant. Moderately bitter. Needs to warm a bit for any malt to be particularly noticeable.
