was pretty nice of them to let us taste their beers even though they were closed. quite thick and syruppy, a bit of a mess but with plenty of apple and icing sugar. darker than a typical lager

nice effort at a german hell or something, quite malty with crisp hops, but finish is a bit tangy and unclean. on the house so the marks are probably higher than they would be if i'd paid for it.
