It has a gorgeous dark amber with a red hue and a creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt and fruit. The flavor is moderately sweet with notes of burnt sugar, caramel, candy sugar, straw and fruit. The finish is rather dry.

Bottle (kindly delivered by Stefan!): Deep golden, visible carbonation, firm creamy and lacy off-white head; sweetish-grainy nose with a certain dry "woody" hoppy background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; slightly lingering hoppy and pale-malty finish. Good and moreish...

(bottle, 33cl, with thanks to Stefan !) Clear, deep golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet malty aroma with bready notes and a herbal, also slightly woody hoppy touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Slightly bready (cara-)malty taste with herbal accents; sweet-bitter malt-accented finish with a rounded, slightly woody hoppy touch. Nice. 16.III.11
