The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Dark, almost black, nice head. Starts modest malty, a little bit sweet, not too dry. Shows fruity notes of plums and raisins. Could be a little bit drier, but still a very good dunkles!

Draught Huge, brownish tinted head over clear chestnut beer. Bread, autumn leaves, sweet caramel. Sweetish, breadish flavour, falls a bit flat in the finish even if it gets drier by then. Quite dry in general, dry-out effect in the throat; light to medium bodied. Übliches Dunkles.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It’s a clear, dark amber beer with a small, off-whtie head. The aroma is quite roasted, with a touch of dried fruits and black pepper. Sweet flavor with roasted malts and some dried fruits. A little bitterness too. Bready finish with toffee and roasted malts. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. A quite nice dunkel that I could drink a few of in the cold months. 110416

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized yellowish beige head. Aroma is strong maltyness, mild skunky notes as well as some slight dark dry fruits and mild toasted and ashy notes. Flavour is being rather much the same along with some slight wooden and toffeeish notes as well. Quie pleasant.
