Draught Fine white head, fast gone over clear, undercarbonated metallic pale beer with a greenish shine. Hops, noble GE, and dry pale malts, pretty well-balanced. Bit metallic, starch, bit grassy, but goes sweeter later. Light body, slight slickness. Not overly impressive, but decent Helles.

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, small white creamy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is bready malts, mild saltwatery notes, quite grassy hoppe as well as some slight herbal notes. Flavour is sweet malts along with grassy and floral bitterness along with some herbal notes. Quite pleasantly balanced.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101015]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Sweet malty nose with some perfumy aroma hops. Medium body, sweet malts. Subdued bitterness. 151010

0.5 l bottle. Golden color.Mild sweetish aroma with lemon and some grainy notes. Sweetish flavor with grainy, lemony and herbal taste. Surprisingly low on maltiness and high on citrus. BB May 2010, but the bottle does not seem fresh.

Bottle (thanx to Stefan!): Clear, golden, visible carbonation; small to mid-sized white head with a good lace; distinctive aromatic-hoppy nose, balanced by some sweet malt; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; mild, but lingering hoppy-grainy finish. Delicious Helles...........

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Minimal sweet and slightly malty nose with a good dash of herbal, almost a bit ethereally hops. Quite bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Soft malty base with a good accentuation of herbal hops (at least for a Helles); finishes dry and hopbitter. Good ! (16.V.09).

bottle, Finkbeiner Illertissen. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Aroma and flavour of green/unripe banana. Pleasantly malty with nice banana flavours, again with flavours of green/unripe banana. Hoppy in the finish. A very pleasant Helles.

Tap at Legoland Deutschland. Strong barley malt aroma with hint of cherry. Clear golden yellow color with moderate head. Light floral/cherry and barley malt flavor. Moderate grassy hops finish. Nice hoppy Helles.

The bottle looks simple, the beer int the glass also, very zippy. The flavor is too hoppy and too less spicy. I don’t really like it.
