Ok saw this at local cheapo discounter. Came in a clear 12 oz bottlescreen printed label..featuring a locomotive for some unknown reason. The appearance is pretty nasty..watery urine..large artificial looking head that in the blink of an eye dissolves into nothing. The smell is skunky..in the usual South of the border beer way..terrible dirty water. .There is notaste to speak of soda water..with a rancid acidic finish..nasty. awful in the mouth..totally carbonated, acidic and thin. This is an awful beer thank goodness I only got one.terrible Corona clone.

12 oz. clear glass bottle. Standard aroma; a bit corny with grassy hop; clean, though. Brassy gold color with a white head that quickly wasn’t there. Almost medium bodied, with moderate, nearly creamy carbonation. The flavor is light grain, maybe a hint of corn. Not a great deal of bitter. The finish is clean, though perhaps not quite crisp. Finally there is a little bitter. Likely one of the better south of the US border light yellow lagers.

For $3.95 per six pack at Grocery Outlet, this is an outstanding beer. It reminds me of some of the really good Mexican beer, but the price is fantastic.

To me, this is an average beer, but it is not as bad as several previous reviews. It’s a very light beer. Actually kind of reminds me on the old softdrink Vernor’s. Light yellow color, with lots of carbonation. Not very tasty, but not evil, either. It’s a fair beer. These light (colored) beers don’t seem to have as much taste as many darker beers. Still, not horrible.

Both my bottle and the 6 pack carrier say Autentica clara cerveza instead of Authentica. This is for sure in my top five beers as the worst beer ever made. I don’t even care to mention anything scientifical to describe this beer or any of its physical or aromatic features because it’s just horrible crap. No points awarded anywhere. Was a cheap deal costing $2.99 a 6 pack but i didn’t pay for it.

Gawwddd, how gross, I took a sip, and I got something nasty, metallic, and cheap. Boy Femsa should discontinue this crud, and fast.
