Roasted malt aroma. Flavour has mix of bitter roasted malt but also a fresh, sweet fruity feel (blackcurrant?). Finish is dry and bitter.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2013 Bottle at home. Shared with Mathieu87. Appearance: pitch black beer, mocha unstable head. Nose: wood, coffee, chocolate, florar, vanilla. Taste: coffee, somewhat ’green’, though rather flat, little watery. Was surprised that this was only 7% in alcohol!

330ml bottle (HBF2013, Friday)
Rich roasty coffee aroma. Sweetish, but so burnt. Smooth in palate, nice carbonation. Full in the mouth. Roasty, a little dry but no astringency. Covers 7% well - almost watery. Tons of red berries in the retronasals. Lovely roast finish. Good one. Did get some soy later, but it didn’t spoil my enjoyment at all.

(Bottled@HBF 2013) Almost black with a smallish, beige head. Roasted nose with milk chocolate, sourness, touch of licorice. Quite roasty, even burned flavor with milky coffee sweetness and dark fruit. Medium to full body, soft CO2. A quite pleasant, sweetish and strongly roasty stout.

Black in the glass, the head is just a smal light brown lace when you wait like a minute. The smell is decent. Good roasted malts, chocolate and coffee, mocca and some vanilla. At the taste the roastiness is in front and get followed by a good holding chocolate aftertaste, with the vanilla followin right after to combine decent. Not totally outbalanced and needs a small boost for me, but the aftertaste makes this one better. The bittersweetness (most sweet) at the taste is good. Better then expected.
