COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty. The treatment of our water to simulate English hard water and the blending of several specialty malts and hops produce a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.

Bottle; poured a very clear and light amber with smallish white head. Aroma was good; toffee, biscuit, apple juice, and flowers/citrus. Flavor was just ok; dry and with a slight bitter bite in the finish. Apple/toffee backbone. Palate was ok.

This is a solid albeit unspectacular beer. Pours a copper color with a pretty good sized off white head and some moderate lacing. There’s some malt and some fruity spice in the aroma but it’s mostly just fresh. There’s a good amount of maltiness early with some caramel and bitter hops following to a somewhat dull finish. Pretty ordinary and the finishing hops do not bite much at all. More of just a subtle bitterness and I end up wanting a little more. Not as good as the last ESB I had (Sierra Nevada) but good enough to have again. However, with so many good beers out there I may just end up forgetting about this one.

Orange copper pour and slightly hazy. Sweet maltiness and an earthy hop body that ends with a pleasantly bitter finish. Nothing spectacular.

Pours a light yellow orange color with a small, quickly disappearing head. The nose is light roast with a nice floral background. Fairly basic flavor, nothing really stands out. A little fruitiness in the beginning but the bitterness overpowers everything else. I even get a slight hint of laundry detergent. It’s not horrible but not their best either.

Nice aroma of bread and malt. Flavor is malt with a nice hop finish. Not overly bitter.

Pours a cloudy copper with a finger of head. Nice strong hoppy aroma. Pretty mild with bitter flavors, but nothing overwhelming. A little thin/flat in the palate department.

12oz. brown bottle into a pint glass. Clear light amber with a white big bubbled head. Head shrinks to a thin layer that remains throughout drinking. Bitter grassy hops, grapefruit, and some malt. A creeper beer. Starts mild then comes the bitterness. Lots of hops and grapefruit. This one puckers your throat. Light to medium body with great carbonation. Good summer beer, as it definitely quenches. Serving type: bottle

DocHop (278) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 26, 2008
Clear amber and light copper pour with only a covering of off-white head. Woodsy smell of an ESB with some hops, yeast, and light fruit. Flavor is of sweet pine and honey all the way through. Very light hops poking through on the abbreviated finish. If this beer was a little less thin its body would fill out very nicely.
