COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty. The treatment of our water to simulate English hard water and the blending of several specialty malts and hops produce a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.

bottle - Pours copper with a 2 finger head. The hoppy aroma has some mild grapefruit notes. This moderately bitter brew is well balanced with caramel malts. Medium bodied with a nice bite that leads into the bitter finish, this is an aggressive ESB. I don’t think Avery does "mild". Nice quaff.

12oz bottle. Pours a transparent copper color with a nice white head. Good lacing left down the entire glass. Aroma is very balanced, malty sweetness, honey, with a little bitter hop bite underneath. Nice smell. Taste is smooth, sweet, honey, balanced with a subtle hop flavor mixed in as well. Very drinkable. Nothing out of the ordinary but just about all I could want from the style. A little underrated I think.

Light amber color, fluffy white head. Aroma is caramel, hoppy, dust, oak, cornmeal without the sweetness. Taste is an light upfront hoppiness, smooth caramel, pale malts. Pretty well put together esb.

Bottle. Pours sparkling orange with a small fizzy white head, somewhat lasting, fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grain, cereal, meal), average hops (herbs, grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of apple and butter. Light bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Amber orange with a off white head. Aroma has hops, malts, straw. Spicy hoppy bitter taste and end! Body is a bit thin. But almost surprisingly schocked over how bitter this beer is. And still - its well balanced! Nice ESB!

FROTHINGSLOSH (3205) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 10, 2007
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden-brass color with a medium sized white head. The aroma was sweet grapefruit with a light piney element. The flavor was dry and malty with a subdued fruity hop presence and a light floral hop note. Surprisingly well balanced. Tasty.

12 oz bottle. Light orange amber body with large but quickly diminishing, off-white, fluffy head. Light malt in the nost. Sweet malt and slight but appropiate bitterness. Med to light carb, creamy. Solid ESb.
