COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty. The treatment of our water to simulate English hard water and the blending of several specialty malts and hops produce a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.

Dark golden yellow. Frothy head, slightly sticky (7-8cm). Light fruits, with some malt on the nose. Slightly bitter on the tongue, with a slight fizz. Nice malt and hop balance. (Bottle Pour 4/1/2007)

Red berries, caramel and citrus in the aroma. Malty flavor, hoppy with a strong dry out effect, although the beer is sweetish. Berries (black and red), toffee and lemon. Pleasant, but onedimensional.

Bottle: Golden in color, clear, moderate to large frothy white head, fairly nice lacing, light carbonation.   Soft grainy nose, with pockets of grass, hay, pale orange peel, biscuits, and dandelions.   Soft citrus based malt profile, on the grainy side.   Slighty barnish in the sense of hay/alfalfa.   Fairly clean.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Toasted malt finish.   Good malt base, a bit unusual with its hint of citrus peel, makes this beer better than average.

Light pine hop aroma comes from a golden colored body. The taste is very light overall, with just a hint of those pine hops. Easy to drink, but not much going on.
