COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty. The treatment of our water to simulate English hard water and the blending of several specialty malts and hops produce a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.

35,5 cl bottle. Orange colour with a weak head. Light hoppy aroma with hints of caramel. Very hoppy flavour of fruit, reminds me more of an IPA than an ESB.

Unfortunately, watery, a metallic tang, definite grapefruit going on, weak caramel, little floral or herbalness in the hops and overall a weak showing.

Clear orange body with a small head that disappears into nothing. Eventually it looks like syrup with water poured into it. It was hard to pick up much from the nose, but after swirling it around and having the air be just right I picked up a weak grapefruity aroma. Flavor is a little more interesting with a bitter grapefruit flavor. Maybe a trace of caramel. Body is pretty light, barely avoids being watery. So far my Avery experience has been pretty good, but this is the clear loser so far.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Slightly hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Weak hoppy aroma. Lightly floral notes and a touch of caramel in the flavour. But mainly dry with a marked, bitter finish. 160106

weakest of the four Averys we had New Year’s Eve. Golden pour. Not very complex, but light and balanced. Metallic flavor with no real finish.
