COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty. The treatment of our water to simulate English hard water and the blending of several specialty malts and hops produce a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.

The appearence is light amber with a white head. Smells of hop flowers, and butter... The flavor isnt very strong. dissapointing.

Smell of butter and ginger, and a taste of lake water, and I mean that in a serious way... it tastes like a bucket of fish after a day of fishing... trouty. The body is good, and the hops are there, but the flavor is not that appealing.

I just had two cups of Alterra coffee, and I need something to calm my nerves (my hands are literally shaking). Thank goodness for beer. It serves multiple purposes!

Avery makes some great stuff. This isn't one of them. Deep amber color with a white frothy head. Aroma of fruit and herbs. Bittersweet taste that just didn't do it for me.

An average Colorado bitter. Amber in color, bitter bite, you've had it before.

This one poured an amber color with a medium head and left a little lacing on the glass. The aroma was sweet and malty with quite a bit of hops. The flavor was very nice for this style. Very hoppy but the malts make a really nice caramel feel. Very enjoyable beer.

A very enjoyable bitter - hops are present but not preminent. Finishes clean with no lingering aftertaste.

Clear amber appearance with an average sized head and lots of lacing. Spicy, citrusy aroma. Well hopped, but not overpowering, and balanced by a breadlike maltiness. Nice bitter taste that is true to the style. Lingering hop finish.

Copper body, mild carbonation, and a dimpled white head. A few flaky particles present including the largest one that I've ever seen in a beer at 1.5 cm or more. Fragrant toasted malt aroma. Initially malty but quickly gives way to a long, firm hop finish. A bitter bitter. And I like it. Very smooth drinking. This is an excellent session beer that provides just the right amount of hops to keep you interested.

Bottle: clean and crisp. Copper colored with small white head. Slight hop nose with a touch of chocolate. Not bad.
