COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty. The treatment of our water to simulate English hard water and the blending of several specialty malts and hops produce a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.

Clear, pale hay color with a thin, white head. The aroma is both sweet and bitter, with plenty of perfume and citrus fruit. The flavors are pretty good and quite straight forward. Nice flavor, but lacks much depth. A nice drinking ESB, but a little mor depth would make it really nice.

Not a bad bitter. Actually too hoppy than bitter and that's a good thing.

Lasting white head, good lace. Light amber. Subtle hops in the nose, aromas are mostly from the malt and some doughiness from the yeast. Malt flavors are of sweet honey and dried fruit. Quite sweet, but nicely balanced with a creamy mouthfeel and medium body.

Light amber out of the bottle with a mild white head. Good malty & hoppy aroma. Flavor is citrus with a little bit of honey added. Nice long bitter ending also.

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2007 Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted light bread, cookie), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, apricot), lightly yeasty (dough), with a light note of squash. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Second recent bottle I’ve had with some vegetal-squash smell, though it’s not as strong as the previous one. Easy-drinking, simple.

This one has all the great American ale flavors of citrus, a bit of stewed fruit, bread, floral notes which are put together in a quite fun way. Not unlike Anderson Valley, perhaps a bit less bitter.

Light copper in color with just a bit of haziness. Forms a pretty decent head but it dissipated quickly but left alot of nice sticky lacing. Some sweet honey and breadlike notes. This one is a bit hoppier than a typical ESB, but I was pretty impressed with this beer overall.

Nice ESB, but a little weak. Weaker flavor than I am used to and watery texture. Not altogether bad, but still not that great either. Okay. Just okay.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2005 Hazy orange copper color, decent white large bubbled head that leaves some lacing in the glass, light nutty, bready caramel aroma. Light body and has a crisp carbonated mouthfeel, balanced malt and hop flavors, nice clean bitterness, finishes dry. Good session brew, not the most flavorful but very drinkable.

More malty than most bitters I’ve sampled. Pours a deep amber. Aroma is somewhat floral but yeast is also present. Decent bitter.
