COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty. The treatment of our water to simulate English hard water and the blending of several specialty malts and hops produce a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.

This is truly one of the worst beers I have ever consumed. The name- very slick, the beer- very shitty. Save your money on a 6 pack of PBR before you decide to tap the Rockies with this one.

"i think mine had some age on it, so the aroma and flavor were somewhat dull and a bit musty. the hops create some bitterness and little else, and nothing about it is fresh. not terrible, but not good, or anywhere near the top tier esbs. A bit of a disappointment."

Bottle gift fromSJ. I enjoyed this simple brew. A little thin in the body, but I liked the blend of brown sugar, hop and bitterness.

A pretty average ESB and a below average offering from Avery. Fits the style as it is nicely balanced and very mellow.

Para ser la primera Avery que pruebo estoy un poco decepcionado.Es una buena cerveza, una bitter esb con mas lupulo de la habitual, buena crema y densidad aunque hay opciones mejores.

Bottle from Total Wine and More in Cherry Hill, NJ. Clear deep amber supporting a thin light tan head. Lightly biscuity, malty, nutty aroma. Quick citrus note up front then plenty of toasted malt, biscuits and cereal. Surprisingly full mouthfeel and a very dry finish.

Scrapersnbeer (1491) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 12, 2012
Aroma of caramel with granite and metal. Hazed amber, not heady. Off-bitter flavor that’s also a bit starchy. Feels heavier at first than on finish, where it dries out. A hill rather than a mountain.

Solid flavor notes that go well with a great meal. Not overpowering but definitely attractive.

355mL bottle poured a golden-orange color with a nice off-white head and some lovely lacing. Aroma of floral hops and toasted malts. Taste is nicely balanced between the floral and citrus hops and the lightly toasted malty sweetness. This is an awesome bitter.

Another tasty beer from Avery. Great malty flavor with just the right amount of bitterness. Good stuff.
