onceblind (4287) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 5, 2014
Clear brilliant golden with a thick foamy creamy head. Grassy and piney hop forward nose without much sweetness or maltiness. Big bitter flavor with a big leafy hop tone and a little pine resin, tastes bigger than 4.2. Complex hop presence but without any maltiness more complex than ’golden grains’, it’s just not too exciting.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy golden-orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of slight grass, pine, earth, hints of spice, yeast, slight biscuit, bread in there as well. Taste is a mix of bread, biscuit, some grass, hints of grain, slight herbal notes into a bit of spice, finishing fairly bitter, slightly dry.

On tap at Avery. Golden and clear appearance with a sticky white head and thick lacing. Aroma of spruce, grass, citrus zest, herbs, tropical fruits, toasted grains and floral notes. Similar flavor, hoppy with medium bitterness. Easy to drink and plenty of flavor for the ABV.

on tap at Avery. Awesome session IPA! This one is bursting with hop flavor and aromas. Doesn’t taste light as some others tend to. Wonderful citrus and pine hop aromas. Med body with floral and citrus hop flavors with a light malt backbone. Restrained, but nice bitter finish with more great citrus notes.
