Commercial Description:
We the Brewers of Avery Brewing Company, in order to form a more perfect ale, require a new leadership that can liberate us from our quagmires in foreign lands; embrace environmentally sound energy alternatives to imported oil; heal our ailing health care system; free us from tyrannical debt and resurrect the collapsing dollar. We hereby pledge to provide him or her with an ample amount of our Presidential Pale Ale to support in the struggle for the aforementioned goals! Hail to the New Chief!

Not an "Imperial" pale ale, this is a democracy. It's Presidential! Take the all-American pale ale, a bipartisan blend of malt and hops, increase to both Avery Brewing standards, and then, of course, dry hop the result with that most quintessential of American hops, Cascades, and you get this... Ale to the Chief. A brew worthy of the Oval Office! Brewed with Rocky Mountain water, malted barley, hops and yeast.

Bottle at LCRBM 5 at Kulminator. Sweet, like most Avery beers. Sweet soapy hop and there are a lot of hops. Pretty deent. Bit over the top.

The aroma is hoppy with hints of malt. The color is a orangish copper with an off white head that’s creamy with excellent lacing. The flavor is hops, then maltiness, breadlike then the hops come back. The body is creamy and the carbonation soft.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a slightly hazy typically carbonated orange brown colored body. The nice aroma was malt hop. The crisp and clean mouth feel was tingly at the start with a vinous caramel malt foretaste and at the finish with a lasting caramel malt hop aftertaste. The balanced flavor contained notes of hops caramel and vinous. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

LCRBM 2009. Looks really good in the glass - brown with a creamy small head. Starts strong with notes of cinnamon and chocolate. Sweet and soft-spicy, christmas-like. Very well balanced finish, again with notes of cinnamon. Very good!

[9/5/08] Bottle sample during LCRBM at Kulminator in Antwerp. Hazy amber. Aroma of yeast, fruits and some grainy hints. Sweetish fruity flavor with yeast and some malt. Medium-bodied.

Pours a copper with yellow hues, and an off white head. Caramel toffee aroma with piney citrusy hop notes. Taste is big and bold. Caramel and toffee malt notes with a mild bitterness. Smooth and creamy, medium-full body brew. Clean finish. Well done

Bomber saved from initial release, consumed on September 13, 2009. Beautiful thick, golden pale amber color with a lovely head. Wet lacing, sweet hop aroma. Yep, pretty malty, but could be mistaken for an IPA. Great fruity cascade hop finish... extremely enjoyable.
