4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cloudy amber orange color. Large, sticky off-white head. The aroma is danky. The flavor is too and tastes like how primo budding hop cones smell. Its a potent beer with an up-front punch and a creamy backend. It leaves a sticky, foamy residue all over the glass.

Tap sample poured into a wine glass.
Clear copper color with a small white head.
Spicy herbal hop nose with some piney tones, caramel malt and mandarin.
Hi bitterness, resinous hop flavor, some nuts and peaches.
Medium body, long bitter finish, alcohol well hidden. Nice.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear copper/dark gold with a thin white head. Firm hoppy nose with grassy floral tones, with a firm earthy malty nutty backbone. The taste has a huge flavor with incredible balance. Nice leafy earthy hoppiness with a earthy malty toffee and caramel backbone. Nice big bitterness but restrained enough to be smooth and balanced.

Ale to a new chief, outstanding hop scent on this beer, almost like smelling a fresh hop. Taste is a super ran blend of citrus and hop notes, probably one of my favorite pale alea.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Deep coppery-red color; pours a medium head with slight retention; good lacing Very sweet smelling; strong notes of malt and toffee with some figs lingering around; the smell can almost be described as "thick"
Very sweet, malty flavor; almost no hint of alcohol at all, very smooth; flavors of toffee, malt, and sticky sweet sugar. Medium-bodied; extremely smooth, a little sticky; lightly carbonated. This brew was delicious! Very sweet and filling, it felt like something I could sip not just as a dessert beer, but for dessert itself. If this wasn’t retired I’d definitely go buy another bottle. Also, this doesn’t taste ANYTHING like an imperial IPA. It’s heavy on the malt and sweetness, but only has a very slight bitterness; it feels and tastes more like a barleywine than a pale. If you’re looking for a seriously hoppy brew then you’re in the wrong place!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Inaugural Boulder IPA Fest. Clear, deep, copper appearance with an off-white head and great lacing. Really sweet aroma with grapefruit, citrus, light pine, and bread. Taste is really smooth with flavors of orange peel, caramel, grass, and floral hops ending very dry-to-medium bitter. Sticky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Nice!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, poured a clear amber with medium white head and ample lacing. Aromas of pine, caramel, and lemon citrus. Taste is the same with smaller notes of sugary toffee and earthy flowers. I would say this is medium bodied with a bitter finish from the cascades. Enjoyable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma of caramel cookies and tad bit of hops. Very hazy amber appearance with an active and lacy head. Flavors of caramel, bread, hops, gingersnaps, and lemon. Starts out very smooth and sweet and then finishes very dry-boozy with a pronounced bitterness from the dry-hopping. Very unique beer. It really does tend to change in taste and flavor throughout a full sip.
