Commercial Description:
We the Brewers of Avery Brewing Company, in order to form a more perfect ale, require a new leadership that can liberate us from our quagmires in foreign lands; embrace environmentally sound energy alternatives to imported oil; heal our ailing health care system; free us from tyrannical debt and resurrect the collapsing dollar. We hereby pledge to provide him or her with an ample amount of our Presidential Pale Ale to support in the struggle for the aforementioned goals! Hail to the New Chief!

Not an "Imperial" pale ale, this is a democracy. It's Presidential! Take the all-American pale ale, a bipartisan blend of malt and hops, increase to both Avery Brewing standards, and then, of course, dry hop the result with that most quintessential of American hops, Cascades, and you get this... Ale to the Chief. A brew worthy of the Oval Office! Brewed with Rocky Mountain water, malted barley, hops and yeast.

A Strong Ale but not heavy. Taste of fruit. Hops. Caramel. An overall lightness to this beer that I did not expect.

22 oz bottle-pours a rich off white head that laces and amber color. Aroma is nice pine/citrus hops-cascade. Taste is nice pine/citrus-grapefruit rind raw hops-bitter, secondary/some medium malt-caramel. Great beer. Medium body. Semi-dry long finish. Thanks jwc215 for sharing.

Bottle, 8.75%. Very nice caramelly hop aroma. Almost clear amber colour. Very small white head. The flavour is nicely caramelly, quite sweet. A little alcohol to balance the sweetness.

Bottle pours clear bronze with a decent and sticky head. The aroma is quite fruity and citrus peal hops. The flavor is a sweetness blast with infused peaches and some minor Rio Star Red grapefruit. The palate is rich and warms well as per the alcohol. This is pretty good and Im glad Im drinking it.

This has a nice floral hop aroma. This has a good hop bite to it, with a very dry finish. Pretty good stuff. The low overall score is solely for the political rant. I drink beer to enjoy the flavor, not learn the brewmasters political feelings. Just like I go to a concert to hear music, not rhetoric. So save that stuff Avery and get back to making beer.

500ml bottle. Thick, unfiltered orange-brown color. Seawater bitter hop aroma. Dry, sandy hop mouthfeel. Full on hop and malt assault. Rich and definitely full-bodied. Not astringent in hoppiness, and never overwhelming in apparent alcohol, this is a top-notch American Strong Ale. Rich caramel malty flavors.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Clear amber golden with an off-white head. Very fresh peachy aroma - almost perfumy. Quite full-bodied with sweetish caramel and very perfumy hop accents and a distinct bitterness. 221108

Bright orange color looks good with a nice light tan head. Smell is alcohol, citrus, hops, and tropical fruits. Taste is malts, sweetness, with a light hop bitterness coming through.
