Commercial Description:
We the Brewers of Avery Brewing Company, in order to form a more perfect ale, require a new leadership that can liberate us from our quagmires in foreign lands; embrace environmentally sound energy alternatives to imported oil; heal our ailing health care system; free us from tyrannical debt and resurrect the collapsing dollar. We hereby pledge to provide him or her with an ample amount of our Presidential Pale Ale to support in the struggle for the aforementioned goals! Hail to the New Chief!

Not an "Imperial" pale ale, this is a democracy. It's Presidential! Take the all-American pale ale, a bipartisan blend of malt and hops, increase to both Avery Brewing standards, and then, of course, dry hop the result with that most quintessential of American hops, Cascades, and you get this... Ale to the Chief. A brew worthy of the Oval Office! Brewed with Rocky Mountain water, malted barley, hops and yeast.

Tap @ The Cherry Tree. Golden copper with lasting flat head. Sweet ripe peach aroma. Very sweet very fruity peaches in syrup flavor with honey and vanilla. Mild hop finish. Thick and cloying. I couldn’t finish it. Way too sweet and fruity. Was gross after about half a pint.

22oz bottle. Orange-Copper color. Tan foamy head. Aroma of dough and floral, citrus hops. Some alcohol in the nose. Very fruity taste. Big caramel malt notes. Finishes with a hearty hop profile. Lots of cascade. Fairly well hopped. Its a big beer, kinda strong for a pale ale.

From a 22 ounce bottle - Pours a beautiful clear bright orange/red with low carbonation, and slightly below average lacing. The aroma is dominated by heavy sticky hops in a DIPA sort of way. First sip is surprisingly fruity sweet but balance by bitter hops and a strong complimenting malt backbone. This is one great beer worthy of secret service protection.

Bottle. Pours a clear dirty orange with a thick, foamy white head. Aroma of bitter citrusy hops, cracker malt, and iced tea. Flavor of nice bitter hops and slight iced tea. Pretty good ASA, a little sweet.

Bottle. Aroma of big mango, citrus, bread, fresh bread crust. Flavor brings out some grapefruit in addition to copious quantities of the other flavors mentioned. Seamlessly woven together, mango-bread with grapefruit-crust. A bunch of toffee too. A fruity tart/sweet-tart finish adds to the excitement. Bordering on DIPA, luscious either way.

22 oz bottle, served in snifter (although I think I prefer it from a shaker). Pours a relatively clear orange color, exhibiting a minimal white head that fades quickly. Medium carbonation in the glass. Crisp, roasty, yeasty aroma with a slight citrus undertone, and some alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied, sticky texture with a soft carbonation feel. Slightly sweet flavor turning to a moderately bitter finish. This is a beer I’m happy to drink any time.

Bottle.
Pours deep, rich amber with a nice, hefty off-white head that leaves a nice latticework of lacing as it dissipates. Aroma is a bit of candied and malted grapefruit. A touch of caramelized molasses is evident in the background, accentuated by a slightly piercing aroma of alcohol. Flavor is buttery malt with syrupy hops in the finish. Very oily texture that leaves a sour, bitter finish on the palate. Above average, but not spectacular.
