4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thick, glowing orange with a bubbly head. Aroma of citrus, apricots, honey, hay, pineapple. Hoppy brett flavor with apricots and honey. Very dry. Figs noticeable as well. Champagne-like and bretty beer that is refreshing and complex. Great.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(on tap at SunDevil). Pale yellow color with lots of carbonation bubble. Slightly hazy and no head (not the fault of the beer). Aroma is musty, pear, green apple. Taste is sour with a hops bite. Finish is smooth and the sour linger, but it not over the top. Sours are not my favorite, but I really like this one.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled sample via and shared with oakbluff. Gold in colour wtih very strong carbonation. Loads of wild funk, fruit, and herbal aromas. Flavours are a strange mix of Rockets sour candy, white grape, marshmallow, apple skin, funk, and herbal grasses. Bone dry. The years have been kind to this one. It’s quite the wild ride.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared by Lubière. Merci!
Hazy straw body with a thin white head with great retention. Aroma is brett, funkiness, horse blanket, green apples, herbs, sugar and malt. Flavor is horse blanket, funkiness, fruity notes, a bit of sugar, spices, herbs and malt. Even with the evident brett profile, sourness and acidity are very mild. This one is impressive, complex and very drinkable.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a good example of a farmhouse ale, it is very wheaty and is unfiltered for the old-fashioned look and feel. It has a sour flavor through and through, however it doesn’t really compliment any of the flavors in the beer; it seems like it is sour for the sake of being sour.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Weird. Reminds of a lame jolly pumpkin beer. Cloudy orange with minimal white head. Funky sour, citrus, vinegar aroma. Very tart. Extremely mild flavor. Not tart, unlike the nose. Earthy, funky and overall bland. Hints of stone, bread, yeast and dough.

Bomber shared by Lubiere (merci!), served cold in a goblet. Bottled April 2008. 19MA10.
App.: Cloudy golden with a small white head.
Aroma: Nice barnyard funk, sour fruits, old apple juice, spicy.
Palate: Medium body, moderate, sparkling effervescence.
Flav.: Nice dried fruits, some esters, some dusty barnyard, slight warm spices; pleasant malt with only a touch of tartness.
Quite interesting...Brett without the bite.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bomber poured into Trappist glass. Bottled in April 2008. Drank in May 2010. Aroma is so pungently funky with Brett, it’s almost overbearing! I love it! (Sorry, Brenn79, I know you hate it when I use the word funky in all my reviews of beers involving Brettanomyces. No other word fits as well!!) Sour sour aroma with notes of figs. Pours a hazy yellowish orange with a medium head and foamy lacework. Taste starts out a little sweet, but the sourness dominates. Very little bitterness. This is one of the fullest bodied beers I’ve ever had. Finishes with a floral acidic mouth-filling aftertaste. Carbonation is medium; oily and creamy texture. I’m surprised at the average score here. I’m blown away by this one. Perhaps the reviewers who ranked it fresh should rerank it now that it’s aged a little? One other thing--the category this beer is under on here is "Belgian Ale" which isn’t very specific. It definitely fits the description of a sour ale.
