Old Review from 2009 - This one pours clear golden color with a decent size frothy head. Not a lot of lacing. The smell on this one is nice and sweet. Mixture of peaches, honey, and banana. Along with that there is a spicy kick to go along with the belgian type yeast. The taste up front is a little musty. In the front also sits the Belgian yeast and spice. Middle of the taste comes a little bit of a grassy hop note. And last but not least enters a fruity ending. I got mostly bananas with a little bit of peach. The mouthfeel was actually quite nice. A little bit on the thicker and heavier side then I was expecting. Very smooth and goes down easy.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow with an off-white head. Aroma of light toasted malts and fruit with a hint of citrus. Flavor is sweet and fruity with a hint of yeast and toasted malts. A little bit of hop citrus in the finish but too sweet for me.

Bottle to snifter. Pours clear gold with a faint peach hue. The head is white and fluffy soapy looking and then fades to a fizzy film and collar. Aroma has fruity chacteristics and bread with the peaches showing as well. Taste is biscuit and spices a little white pepper and cinnamon with a faint peach flavor. Palate is medium and fizzy carbonation with a bready dry finish. The finish also shows a warming swallow from the alcohol. I found it somewhat tasty and glad I found a bottle to try!

Très bonne saison pas trop abîmé par l’age, au contraire, très douce. La levure dévoile tout son profile de foin humide, d’agrumes. Belle représentation du style.

22OZ in a half-liter mug - pours lightly hazy gold with white head and moderate lacing. Nose is Belgian yeast. Aroma is spicy (pepper), light hops and a little smoky/roasted. Tastes is ever-so slightly sweet and lightly bitter on the finish. Medium body with mild carbonation and slick texture. Nothing special. This beer could have made a fine belgian ale.

Pours hazy gold with medium white head. Aroma is earthy, spicey, florals and maybe a hint of pears. Taste is sweet and spicey, a little tartness on the finish as well. Finishes somewhat dry.

A nice saison, with big notes of yeastiness, spices and sweet fruitiness. Light and crisp enough to be very drinkable, but with adequately deep flavors and alcohol to make it stand apart from lighter offerings.

Poured from a bomber into a session glass. Appearance is a hazy gold with a thick head of beige foam resting atop. Aroma is spicy and slightly grassy. I get notes of jasmine and light herbal hops. Taste is spicy, estery, herbal, and a touch grassy. Pretty good for as long as it’s been setting in the refrigerator.

Sweet, honey meadish aroma with a little bit of belgian spice detected. pale color with brilliant clarity. a little ring of foam around the glass hangs around the entire time. very prevalent honey sweetness, mixed with alcohol and some Belgian yeast spiciness. super light body with effervescent carbonation (tingly!). Bitter sweet aftertaste. Overall, an interesting beer, refreshing for the hotter weather. I have another bottle, but will probably not age it much longer.

An interesting brew; aroms has some flowers and honey. The body is a bit strained at first, but mostly it’s peaches. The finish is stickier, probably form the honey. Certainly unique but not necessarily all that good.
