650 ml bottle from Bev4less. Pours a slightly cloudy yellow gold color with a fair white head. The aroma is moderately strong with Belgian yeasts, fruits, floral notes and spices. The flavor is overtly fruity with a witbier quality; plenty of cardamon, light fruits and bread yeast. The mouthfeel is light and smooth. The finish is long and spicy-sweet. Overall: A very good saison.

22 oz. bottle. Pours an initially thick white head, which rapidly deflates, over a pale yellow (SRM 5) cloudy body....nose of light lemon, mild spice (allspice, cardamom), honey, bit of Belgian funk.....tastes of light malts, lemon bit of the spices, finishes dry and with slight hop bitterness....mouth feel is light, carbonation medium to high. This is an excellent example of the style. Light, refreshing, easily drinkable, almost perfect summer beers.

Pours bright golden with a frothy head. Its inviting smell is like a spring meadow filled with wildflowers. The mouthfeel is light and creamy with a sprightly carbonation. The Saison Dupont yeast provides a variety of bold, fruity-spicy esters such as faint banana, clove and white pepper. With each sip, more aromas unveil themselves. I think of fresh-cut herbs, tea, flower petals and honey. The malt side of the beer is mild yet balanced. Flavors of water crackers, crusty bread and honey come through, providing a solid backbone to the beer’s bouquet of aromas, slight tartness and spicy bitterness. The peach addition in the beer is mild, and it’s far from your typical "fruit" beer. But it does have a wholesome, earthy, peach-accented quality that brings me back to my younger days when I explored peach orchards near my mom’s house in northern California. The beer finishes dry with a snappy, hoppy bitterness that blends effortlessly with the spices and aromas. Refreshing beer.

On tap at flying saucer. Has a cloudy yellow golden with a medium creamy white head that leaves behind good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a spicy fruit with a strong clove. Medium mouthfeel with a dry malt taste with a nice dry finish. Hides the alcohol well, a good saison from Avery.

Cloudy golden color on the pour with a minimal head. Tons of sulfur (aka rotten egg smell) on the nose, with notes of sweet, light fruits and spice. The taste is light with sweet fruit notes (peaches and the like) with a grassy character and some decent spice character. There seems to be, however, something lacking in the flavor. Decent spicy carbonation on the swallow. And this could use more funk/earthiness and less sulfur. Despite all that, I didn’t actually mind drinking this - so, this does apparently have redeeming qualities. Edit: Actually, after drinking this some more and letting it open up a bit more, that taste is pretty good. Bumped up the score a bit.

Pours a pale yellow into a tulip. Bright white head recedes at a medium pace to hug rim. Yeast and lemon aromas. Sweet peaches upfront with sweet honey in the middle. Crisp and dry with a flowery alcohol finish.

Bottle from Pizza Port. Clear golden yellow with almost no head. Floral fruity aroma. Big honey and mild peach taste with the jasmine showing through in the finish.

A 22 oz bottle. The beer poured a golden body with a fluffy cream head. The smell is of ham and spices. The taste was of a hint of peach and honey, very smooth. Good carbonation and flavor.

Not the best avery beer that i’ve ever had, but not all that bad. Pours like any other bitter saison, cloudy yellow. Could not taste either the peaches or honey, but have heard on tap in boulder is the way to go. Then again, It may be a sleeper that goes better with age.

I realy enjoyed this beer. Avery has done some pretty wacky things with their anniversary editions but this one was refined and tasteful. Like "Twelve" this had the classic lines and body of a Saison but not as over powering as "Twelve". They should at least put a Saison in their seasonal line up...please!
