A ’saison-esque’ brew with peaches, honey and jasmine, combining intense flavors with summertime quaffability. 65/35 pale two-row to pale wheat, lightly hopped to accentuate the fruit and spices. OG 1.065, FG 1.007.

Hazy light golden with a fleeting white fizzy head that is gone in a flash. Light malt aroma with some pale fruit and light Belgian twang. Somewhat fruity with pears and apples and a tart slight spicy sting. Light body and an unfiltered slight chalky trailer. Very pleasant.

Bottle: Pours an opaque straw color with a thin white head. Aroma is lightly floral, musty, and faintly sweet. Sweet, yet prickly mouthful at first. The yeast and sharp florals, maybe that’s the jasmine, really come on strong at first. Mellows a bit, but finishes dry and spicey with more florals.

Botttle. I like the ambition with this beer, trying to make something yeasty and funky without making the typical american saison misstake and overhopping. Fairly good but a little too sweet.

Bottle at Oliver Twist. Pours pale and quite clear, not much of a head. Aroma of passion fruit and brett. Taste of banana and cookies.

22 oz bottle. Cloudy olive yellow with lacy white froth. Nose is yeast and honey; floral notes that i guess is the jasmine. Hints of butterscotch. Refreshing medium light with crisp, foamy carb. Taste is yeasty but not as much as the aroma would suggest. Mild lemon pith and peach. Finishes with perfume and stale bubblegum. Maybe better fresh with more peach.

22oz. bottle. Fruity, spicy, lightly sweet aroma, mildly tart and doughy with notes of estery yeast, lemon citrus, some mild floral contributions from the jasmine and faint pepper. Bright medium golden color, with a lasting, foamy head. Flavor is gently bitter and tart, turning spicier and sweeter about midpoint, finishing with a touch of doughy, honeyish sweetness and drying, almost citric acidity with lingering peach aftertones. For all the vigor of the head, the mouthfeel is only gently carbonated, some heft on the palate, particularly for the style, and with a medium-full body. Not a bad blend by any means, but not quite able to hold its own with other recent American Saison greats or with some of the other more impressive Anniversary selections from Avery.

Cloudy yellow, with a decent sized white head. Smells like honey, peach and, I don’t know, let’s go with jasmine. Flavor is very honey forward, with peach in the back ground. Some subtle spicy notes in the finish. Not bad, maybe a touch sweeter than I’d prefer.

Hazy golden color, white head that dies fast. Acidic, lemon, yeast, red apples scent. Yeasty, phenolic, estery taste. Yeast aftertaste, also spicy. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Bottle @ Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Very slightly hazy yellow with almost no head. Aroma is apples and yeast. Some light carbonation and a slightly watery finish. Taste is dry yeast and some sweetness with a light sourness. OK, but nothing I’ll come back to in a hurry.

The aroma is orange peel, citrus and champagne alcohol. Really good. Appears cloudy pineapple yellow. Medium head. Carbonation is excellent. The flavor is champagne with Belgian tripel spice. Heavy citrus. There is a lot of alcohol; warming. The musty horseblanket is there but works with the citrus. The palate is creamy and very bubbly. Overall, lots of fizzy Belgian spice with an earthy balance and a citrusy hit. A really outstanding beer.
