3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22oz bottle. Clear at first, getting hazier toward the bottom. Golden yellow in hue, with a small and fleeting head. Really sweet aroma with peaches and honey evident, followed by some light spice. Light on the tongue, with a spicy and sweet flavor that has some sticky peach and honey. Seems quite phenolic, with a slight plastic hint. This really comes off quite sweet and fruity for how low the final gravity is. Saisons just need to be a lot more rustic than this. Peel back the flavorings and I might be game.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle. Pale golden with one finger head. Probably a bit past its prime. I can taste the hint of some peach. There’s a nice funk that has developed. Mild in flavor.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled May 2009, lightening my cellar Feb. 2014. Opened over the sink in case of gusher, which of course guaranteed I wouldn’t get one. Pours a big white head that settles over a darker, almost honey colored beer. Smell carries a little honey with it. But I get an overall impression of dustiness. Possibly the jasmine breaking down. What else to expect after five years? The honey does come through pretty nicely. Peach seems to be hard to pick up under the best conditions, here it tastes like a bit of thickened apricot juice. Some of that may also be the yeast having done its job and pooping out. Still, it was pleasant enough drinking, though the bubbles were packed pretty tightly. Just means I need to weed the saisons out of my cellar along with the DIPAs.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rated on 12-30-2009 and bottled May, 2009. This beer forms a very fizzy white head with a lengthy retention, hazy yellow body, visible carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The Aroma is yeasty, sweet, fruity, peaches, honey, and spicy. The Taste is sweet, yeasty, peaches, honey, and spicy. The Palate is tingly and this beer is medium bodied. In conclusion, this beer is quaffable and worth trying. I recommend trying this and it is a beer I would drink again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz. bomber: Hiding in the back of the fridge. This one pours a clear golden color. There was a small white head that lingered a short while. The nose is good. Earthy and grassy notes are the main items. Some spices with a hint of peaches. The taste is good. Very clean and crisp. Hints of citrus and peaches to the taste. Somewhat lighter body. Slightly spicy and just a bit dry. A very nice beer!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Random find in a store on a warm shelf. Bottled in May, 2009. 22 oz bomber into a tulip glass.
A - Pours a clear light amber body. Two finger bone white head disappears quickly into some thin edging. Dismal lacing.
S - Bubblegum sweetness with a cereal like malt presence. Floral and spicy herbal finish. No honey or peaches but the jasmine is still going strong. A bit of wet cardboard oxidation on the end. Not great, but not bad considering the age.
T - Awfully similar to the nose. Bubblegum, wheat and cereal malt, jasmine flowers, white grapes, and just a nod towards oxidation. Again, not great but drinkable. Mouth feel is well carbonated and lively.
O - This beer has held up well given its age and questionable storage conditions. The peaches and honey are long gone which probably originally constituted a great beer. What we have here is a jasmine strong quasi-saison that is past its peak. While it is on its way down the beer hill, its still very drinkable and worth a try.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
From the September 2012 3R6P gathering. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy pale yellow color with a medium sized foamy yellow-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was bread dough, citrus, grape, cider, pepper and was a touch medicinal. The flavor was faint sweet caramel, sourdough bread, lemon, orange, faint jasmine and a hint medicinal. Medium finish and body. Eh.
