COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unlucky 13? If anything, 13 has been a lucky number and year for us! Here is our version of a Weizen Doppelbock, a very rarely brewed style marrying the complexities of two great German traditions, Weiss and Doppelbock. The aroma is dominated by fruity and spicy esters produced by the German Weiss yeast strain with a dry drinkability from the wheat malt. The flavor and color are dominated by the unique specialty grains that produce the Doppelbocks flavors of fresh baked bread, toffee and cocoa, and a dark-ruby red hue. Since goats have traditionally adorned Bock labels, we chose a Rocky Mountain Goat for this Rocky Mountain Bock. Peace to all and follow your dreams! Brewed with Rocky Mountain water, malted barley, malted wheat, imported German specialty grains and hops, and one unique German yeast.

22oz bottle-pours a big foamy to rocky tan head that laces with dark brown –red tint color. Aroma is medium malt, sweet-caramel, dark fruit. Taste is medium malt, sweet-caramel, alcohol, spice. OK effervescence. Splitting one beer with a friend would be plenty.

Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
[Vintage 2006]
Pours a very deep mahogany with a small creamy yellowish head. Aroma is powerful, sweet roasted malts, lots of plums, slight berries and a touch of chocolate and a rum-like feeling to it. Exceptional creaminess. Flavour is equally stunning, lots of dark dried fruits, coupled with great, weel-adjusted viniousness and a slight roasty bitterness. Chocolate abounds in the aftertaste. Really wonderful!

Its a red mahogany color and the head is huge, golden and creamy. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and a little fruit. The flavour is sweet, for a moment I find it very sweet, fruity, spicy and it has notes of roasted malt, licorice and the finish is long and lightly bitter. I kind of like this one, but then again it is a bit dominating in the overall impression and it should be more wheaty. 1722

Dark ruby with a firm off-white head. Complex aroma featuring figs and dates, licorice and molasses, and some bready munich maltiness. Sweet and fruity flavour, vineous and thick. Licorice and malt in a dry finish. The alcohol feeling falls somewhere between warming and burning. I suppose this is my first wheat wine

LCRBM2: Banana and grapes in the almost vinous aroma and flavor. Brown sugar aftertaste. Indeed, not very subtle.

Bottle... Barely hazy, very dark, ruby lager with a small, creamy, everlasting khaki head. Smells and tastes like a green banana dipped in chocolate. Sweet malt and dry, tangy wheat. Medium-bodied and oily with fizzy carbonation. Finishes tart and chocolatey like chocolate covered cherries.
